I have really enjoyed this series!! When I started to watch I had no idea or expectations of what it is going to be. But it has been a nice surprise. For a short drama like this it has surprisingly many layers - being funny and serious at the same time and also having like two stories on the screen at the same time too. One story is the actual physical story between Kaji and Fukami we are shown visually and the other one is the one that is going on in Kaji Akihiro's head. During his encounters with Fukami he developes and grows from a person who - due to his past traumas - did not want to be in serious relationships or commit to anyone to a person who actually wants to let someone to become emotionally and intellectually close with him and the one he wants to stay with no matter what.

Waiting for the last episode and I hope it will not ruin the otherwise good story.

Some of the absolute best movies and drama series I have ever seen have been Japanese. They really know how to write, direct and film good drama.. But then again some of the weirdest stuff I have ever seen also comes from Japan and this drama belongs to that group. I liked all of the actors but the plot itself was just a weird mess. I guess you can watch this if you have NOTHING else to do and are really bored, but I can't really recommend this for any other reason. It would have been nice to see these actors together in a good drama.

I did not write ALL of them have, but many of them have, so I just asked WHY. Saying that "not all of them have" is not an answer. The mainland Chinese dramas I have lately seen have all had somekind of possessiveness and mental or physical abuse. So they do exist and my question was WHY, cause I find it weird. What is your problem with me asking that??

I am watching this in a share house in Japan, so I have to use earphones if watching later in the evening and this soundtrack is SOOO good. I had to start looking for the songs in the middle of watching the drama.

About the drama itself: Why do these mainland Chinese dramas so often have these obsessive and possessive male leads? I can't remember Taiwanese dramas having this kind of plot repeating so often.

This is a drama not a p*rn film so the point of those scenes is not how realistic they are in showing a s*xual act, but what the characters are thinking while doing it. Like the thought process going inside their heads, especially Kaji Akihiro's.. (Like how he is at the same time obviously falling for Yuu, but trying to convince himself he is not.)

I usually never start watching dramas before they are fully released cause I hate having to have to wait in the middle if the drama is good. I had no idea what to expect when I started to watch this but I absolutely love the humour in this. And it is directed to feel like the a bit "over reacting manga style" and it works well here. I have laughed especially at the Kaji Akihiro characer so much. Now the only negative thing is there are 3 episodes left and I have to wait 3 weeks to be able to finish this drama! I wish the remaining epsiodes will be as good as the 7 first ones!!

Yes, I love Kyoto. I have soon been here for 3 months and my tourtist visa is expiring so I have to fly home, but I will try to come back ASP! If you haven't been here, I recommend visiting one day in the future. :)

I should have added that if I knew the drama included this kind of illness (cancer, ALS what ever) I would not have watched it. I sometimes feel like these dramas romaticize dying of a serious illness. Ofcourse I am gratefull for having that person in my life for 20 years, but it does not make it somehow beautifull that she had to leave in such an ugly way in the phase of her life she still had so many things she wanted to do - just like in this drama the character (Johan) had.

(We also worked as a pair for almost 15 years, so our lives were really deeply intertwined and we also had lots of future plans together. So my friend's death felt like a part of me died with her and it can never be revived.)

Anyway, I wish you all the best in life - and I will avoid watching these kind of dramas in the future too (if I just know they include such content). I have had my share of serious illensesses and death in the real life..

Ofcourse we can have different experiences/opinions of the same issues - and this drama too. For me personally, I have watched one of my dearest, closest, most important friend and person to struggle with cancer for years and slowly fade away due to both the cancer and the heavy treatments. With the ALS it will be the same: Slowly worsening condition untill you are only a shadow of what you used to be and in both cases as the person on the side, there is nothing you can do to help. You just have to accept and let go. For me this was such a traumatic experience that I have still not recovered. I lost 11 years of my own life being seriouly ill myself too, but that is nothing compared to have had to watch from the side a person so important to me to suffer and fade away like that. So if some people saw the ending as something beautifull, I just saw it as this mentally painfull path to death for both of them. (In a drama surely you can make it visually beautifull but in real life.. In such way of dying there was nothing beautifull at all. Just sadness, exhaustment and the feeling of helplessness.)

(BTW, this person loved Japan and Kyoto and I am in Kyoto right now. 11 years after her death. I still wish she was here.)

I am sure this drama will be watched from so many different point of views.. For me.. I have lost so many loved ones in the real life (to cancer and other illnesses, also one innocent young person got m#rdered), so with this much tragedy in one drama (one character jumping out of the window, one dying in an accident and one getting serioulsy ill) I am just exhausted. It had so much potential and the actors were good, but for me it was too much. It did not make me cry, just feel drained. And a bit disappointed. What a pitty.

In my opinion yes. More Than Words for me is a 10/10 drama, lots of depth and character development. This drama had too much tragedy: One character jumping out of the window, one dying in a car accident and one getting seriously ill. Too unrealistic, extreme and messy plot for me. 6,5/10 for the potential and the actors.

It was the same director?? More Than Words is one of my all time favourite dramas. I have watched it like 10 times. It had lot of depth and the ending was about "atonement" and healing. Compared to that this was too much of a mess.

The storyline was not bad, but - allthough I have gone through a lot in life - a one character jumping out of the window, one dying in a car accindent and one becoming seriously ill, is a bit too much for me. I mean I need the dramas to be somewhat realistic and this much tragedy in a one drama was too much for me. It had potential, the actors were good, but in all I would give it 6,5/10.

I just finished watching this and all though the last scenes were somewhat confusing - mixing present and the past - if they did separate it was because she could not trust him not to do the same to her than what he did to his previous girlfriend with her. I could never be with someone who is already dating or married, but if I was in this situation, how could I ever trust the guy, when he cheated his ex with me.. Also the ending was not clear, they could also have kept the relationship secret at work and moved to live together, you could also see it that way.. Anyway, the story was visually well made, nicely edited and the main song was so beautifull so the ending felt too flat. In my opinion they could have made it less confusing (with the present/past clips).

Based on what?? HanGyeol was a new member and the most popular among all of them - almost everyone was interested in him. MinSeong even came later to the shoot and still got him a boyfriend. So how "did they not stand a chance" and how "were they at a disadvantage"?? I truly can not follow your logic.

I liked it a lot. It had many funny moments and the way their relationship developed during the drama was funny too. I could have watched more of them. I speacially liked the female lead. Her acting was spot on. I am surely going to watch it again in the future. (I don't read mangas so I have no idea how that was.)

Funny enough, this kind of touched me personally since I don't have a smell fetish, but I am VERY sensitive to smells (also sounds, different kind of patterns etc.) and I can divide men in three categories: good smelling, neutral and unpleasant smelling (this has nothing to do with sweat or being unclean). I can date both the good smelling and the neutral, but not the 3rd ones. It does not matter how nice the person is, I just can not be too near to them. The same goes with my female friends. I have few friends who have an unpleasant smell (I would never tell them though) and I could fex. not sleep in a same bed with them eventhough I could with my other friends. I even asked a therapist about it and she said in this case it is not a psychological issue but some people just are naturally more sensitive to things.

I think it is sick. But if SW read even some of it, it must have been confusing and hurtfull to have total strangers pouring so much negativity and hate on oneself.
