Lyx next drama Water Dragon Song with Otter studio/TTEOTM producer is rumored to approach Qiyi and not Youku. Both Qiyi/Tencent should be v interested in the combi of LYX-OTTER productions. LYX comp as the novel IP holder also has 2 more dramas sold to Qiyi start filming this year other than WDS.

Abt 2-3 weeks ago Youku CEO himself went to Heng Dian to meet wt Lyx and his team, even buying meals and drinks for Qiyi FYH crews in the name of LYX. Youku also meet with Otter in Heng Dian. All to make sure their next LYX-Otter combi will be on Youku and not Qiyi.

He was widely laugh at by various marketing account for buying meals for QIyi crew to secure WDS. Qiyi CEO himself then came to visit FYH crew after Youku CEO went to Heng Dian.

I prefer Qiyi than Youku, bcs Youku is just erratic on doing things. Like Anle now, the rumour are the productions not finished even aft 2 yrs, that’s why it drops just like that. If you revisit TTEOTM, Youku was not ready at all to broadcast TTEOTM. But rumour said they need $ badly.
Now in China pp said, TTEOTM still on rework, esp. they r working on reducing Leo make up, the eye shadow, the lipstick. We have various version of BGM, Netflix diff than YT etc.

What are we doing for Xixi birthday coming in July 28, 10 days from Now:

On that note: I think everyone wants to play TTJ. Like we have not seen a character like him at all in C drama. Where actor got to portray 6 characters. He did say, playing TTJ is like playing several dramas all together. So it was a good challenge for him.

Yeah, I said it many times esp during airing. Leo can portray TTJ so well because His life is like TTJ , being betrayed left and right but he just concentrate of what he do best and bring positivity to others around him.

Even producer posted that Leo is a warrior like TTJ.

TTOETM for you first C drama will be like:
You never watch US drama and your 1st watch is Games of thrones.

TTEOTM has many elements of Chinese fantasy and can be confusing for beginner. But there is a tread on discussion on this page there that explain everything, time line etc that you can refer to, plus friendly pp here who willing to answer your ?.
My first 2 C Dramas happened to be the CLASSICS, Eternal love and Ashes of Love a few years back. And TTEOTM is on par with those classics. I’m forever grateful that those 2 are my first dramas.

IMO it is going to a roller coaster of emotions and one of the best acting, costume and CGI you ever see in Chinese Drama. It’s a complex story that will hook you from the very beginning (most C drama are full of filler but not this one). If you are used to US drama, TTEOTM is the perfect one to start your first C drama.

Yeah xixi in antagonist roles: the creepier the better. Playing a hero is a waste of his talent.

Pay attention every single brand live broadcast the camera men always zoom in Xixi hands multiple times. His hands I’m love wt his hand since Runyu 😂

Reba is drama queen LYF is International movie Queen. I think to pair wt LYF is even more difficult than wt Reba sigh. I can only dream. I just love watching LYF fight scenes. She is just so graceful. Also in Mulan.
