LYX can always improve and he will. Considering this is the most complex characters in costume drama, he nails it beyond what other C popular actor can. But he is by far above everyone else in this drama. There might be scenes that he can do better. But Portraying 3 DGs, 3 Characters ttl 8 personalities is no joke for any other actor in the world.
He is Slaying it and He will improve. EACH TIME from drama to drama, he never fails to amaze me with his improvement.

I don't know BFTB is full of new actors, I'm picky abt acting. Many times drop drama cause of lame supporting cast, Like IS, One and Only.
I prefer costume, only watch modern for a few actor I like.
