We can have our differences, and perhaps we just have a diff level of what good acting is. For me both XK and RJL acting are meh, exactly because considering how popular they are. For me good actors who are also very popular are Huang Xuan, LYX, Zu Yi Long, Zhang Rouyun and ONLY THOSE who can dub their own and don't need VA can be called good actor. TBOY has limited budget and let's say I'm not fond of the costumes. Not every costume in TTEOTM is good, but the diversity and quality have taken Xianxia to next level.

All those 4 drama are also good, but TTEOTM took CGI to next level, acting to next level, costume to next level. Those are facts
TBOY has good plot good fighting scene albeit cheap costume and mediocre acting but eye candy ML BW is satisfactory is almost everything except for ML acting ALP has good GCI, strong support cast but facial paralysis acting from ML LBFAD team has good intention, but again my definition of no 2 point on acting, story not my cup of tea.
This is my words also. I dropped it in ep 30 . Fom ep 14 i hoped that there gonna be some happy moments but nope…
People has diff preferences. I love the angsty Xianxia and complex storyline and think modern rom com/Love story is shallow and a waste of time. The same routine get recycled with with people from different profession, Doctor, Lawyer, Designer whatever.
At least the routine in Xian xia is larger and much more interesting than modern love story drama routine.
No drama is perfect, regardless of the story and how it ends. For me this drama should be a 10
FOR 1. Putting pressure to other Producer Platform to elevate their assembly line quality drama 2. Casting actors that can act instead of Pretty Facial Paralysis AI Acting Actor 3. Not giving us shitty cheap CGI and bad setting 4. Giving us the best costume Xianxia has ever seen
The producer has GOOD intention and TTEOTM will be the benchmark that will force other to elevate their GAME for the benefit of C Drama Audience, US people, TO BENEFIT US.....
