They were so happy wt him with his CWN filming that they let him pick himself what he wanted to film, and he picked TTEOTM. SO IT WAS HIM ON DAY 1, before they picked director. By oct BL said 6X she wanted to work with him on Costume, u think her boss did not know LYX has this project? Immortality is Otter studio 1st drama, most exp BL. TTEOTM is Otter studio 2nd drama Youku most exp drama. Both LYX, and their next project filming in Q3/Q4 is also with LYX.
So Gong Jun was never considered for this. I understand why Otter loves LYX, he slays with his acting. And I also read article 2 yrs ago if you sign LYX for costume his name can bring S+ project investment to start the drama. Never under estimate that LYX is not popular in China despite v low profile.
You can take pict of any of his scenes, there is no bad acting he uses every single camera second to highlight his characters, more than the script could have.

Huanyu is a big and strong capital agency, it can made their own drama. LYX well, he is the only artist for the longest time, the firm is called by fans breakfast shop agency for being tiny. Now it only has 3 actors, LYX, Chen Yao and that guy who plays XYW bother not YQZ. So the different is like motor cycle and Porsche between the 2 agencies.

When he became the proud King Jin (after living his life lower than a rat) after experiencing MY dream, his jealously and obsession makes sense. It is expected for TTJ to be obsessive, it is not normal if they make TTJ fully understands love, because he does not. He is worst than a 5 yr. old when it comes to love.
