Leo Luo is better to play a villain or a schemer. Playing a nice boy is just a waste of his talent.
I think Villain gives room to showcase his acting range. Problem is this type of ML is v rare in C drama, most heroes is one dimensional character. And LYX with his popularity is not going to play 2nd ML as villain. Unless he gets the fee as ML fee, which no producer willing to pay for villain role. LYX is already lucky getting Runyu and TTJ. FYI the difference between ML and 2nd ML fess for popular actor like him can be 10x more than 2nd ML. If it is a movie, or an even bigger production with top liner acting school actor he might be willing to 2nd Lead for gaining experience.

I think that's what set TTEOTM apart with LBFAD. LBFAD is a cute straight forward love story, TTEOTM has tons of story depth. We are used to see C Drama with our brain left in the closet, but with TTEOTM we need our brain to fully understand every clue & fore shadowing that will come latter in immortal arch.
