FYI: Modern most important: standard mandarin + clear pronunciation. Costume: Dubbing skill much higher, must be stable, full, right pacing, able to remove daily speaking habit (talk too fast, mumbling, voice too thin/thick) and deliver it according to the character. Speak like Ancient King/Queen, Immortal, General, etc This req. lung training + mastering breathing technique (think of opera singer). Ex: I like Luoyang but, FL original dubbing is awful to hear, but her modern drama is ok, she can’t shake out her daily talking habit. To be able to dub Costume and accepted by general audience not only fans take a long training. We will get more dramas without good dubbing after this new regulation cause most actors have not spend time to learn…esp the busy ones…
