I personally thought the wedding dress was perfect for the kind of scene she played. A diva appearence. LOL

I think her hanboks are beautiful and the character is well dressed. To each its own. She is a strong woman with a flamboyant personality. The make up is intense to match those characteristics. Perhaps it became a cliche, that I can agree. Usually the villaineses or strong woman are wearing dark make up and intense red listick. I like a light make up on So yeon but I don`t mind to see Hong Joo like that. She is a character that can`t be ignored. I love Hong Joo. I hope they gave her a meatier role.
I can`t wait to see her scenes with Ryuhei. He is a strong moster. They won`t fight just yet so it will be a lot of tension.

So far, it seams that only Mu Young from future is in the scene. We don`t know where is Mu Young from 1938. Maybe he was the one punished by Taluipa and transformed in a stone.
Lee Yeon from 1938 was out of picture anyway, irelevant to what happened in 1938. It seems he have not participated in those times (probably being addcited to oppium and searching for his reincarnated lover). That`s the story. Lee Yeon from 2020 has a chance to help people in those times when he really did not do anything meaningful as a (former) mountan god.

About Rang... We asked the same question. I don`t know how he healed right away. Let `s assume it was one of those moments when touching by that gold light, he miraculously healed. Remember how Mu Young also healed Eun Ho, and she doesn`t have not even a wound now.

You mean about the scene in season 1? I did not watch season 1 but I read about this scene. It looks like fans thought too much about it. Lee Dong Wook said in an interview that he did not become a gumiho, he is human , it was a scene just to please the fans.

I guess you did not watch the firt episode. Taluipa game him the powers back to bring back the guardian stone. He has his gumiho powers only temporary.

I also think that Mu Young, Lee Yeon and Hong Joo will fight together Ryu Hei. Mu Young`s revenge is the second plot.

Or she is dead. So far it is only my quessing, that Hong Joo faught alone the Japanese monsters and probably lost. My Young and Lee Yeon were not there to help. But I could be wrong. She is powerful but not invincible. But it is possible that she is punished .
Yes, Mu young wants revenge but he doesn`t want only that. He did not came to the past for that. He could have killed Lee Yeon when he was human in 2020. Why came in the past to get revenge on Lee Yeon? It doesn`t make any sense. But maybe I did not have the whole picture to understand the whole connection. I want to see the next episodes.

You will understand the connection from the first season without watching S1.

I also agree. For me it is very clear even from the synopsis that there won't be anything romantic feeling between Lee Yeon and Hong joo. He demonstrated that his love for his wife is strong. I don't understand why people are afraid of that. Lee Yeon and Hong Joo knew each other from a long time, even before he met the human girl. Lee Yeon rejected Hong joo before he knew ah eum ( i am not sure about the name). Why worry now?
Hong joo is lonely. She likes the excitement of chasing her crush. Hong joo can be a pain in the a** but I am not worry about her relationship ( friendship) with Lee Yeon unless she is between her two old friends who are in conflict. I will predict that she will fight Lee yeon to save Mu young ang she will fight Mu Yeon to save Lee yeon.

From the meeting between Mu young and Hong Joo in ep 2 , I understood that Mu young (1938) is not around. Perhaps he was incarcerated/ punished by higher ups.
Hong joo doesn't know he is from the future, she thought he escape / return from somewhere.
Also I sensed that Mu young( 2020) did not meet Hong Joo either, like she was not around him in the future as well. I believe that Mu young came to the past for Hong joo to save her but so far It is just an assumption. Time will tell. I can't wait to know more about them in the future episodes.

I don`t think it was a misunderstanding or better said, I don`t want to be just that. I want a serious problem and not just something he assumed. But in the same time, I think it is something that they can resolve.

I think Hong Joo cares for both Lee Yeon and Mu Young because they were old friends. Yes, she is obssesed with Lee Yeon but she won`t hurt him even if she declare how she will kill him if he is not hers. The so called fight from the train was a game for both of them, it was not really a serious fight. We saw from the trailers that she will fight Lee Yeon and Mu Young. Maybe the fights won`t be just a game in the future but I really believe that the three of them are still have lingering feelings about their friendship. They have to be together if they want to fight the Japanese monsters. Just my thought that I can`t back it up right now.

Acording to the preview of ep 3, Hong Joo wants other monsters to know that Lee Yeon is blind. I don`t know what she is doing or why but it is intriguing.
