Title Renascence Spoiler
Yao Mowan reveals to Ye Junqing that she's actually Yao Moxin. So that may imply that Yao Moxin has possessed…
As @PeggySue said, this was mentioned the moment Mowan finds Moxin's body.

If Moxin's body is still alive, perhaps she would return Mowan's soul to Mowan's body, and her own memories back to her own body after she has taken her revenge, and eventually die (her body is too damaged to survive). It's only appropriate and unselfish. I believe the second time, Ye Junqing has fallen in love with Mowan instead of Moxin without realizing it himself. When Mowan emerges perhaps he'll know.

That's my assumption all the time: Mowan's soul is in Moxin's body, but her memories is still with Mowan's body together with Moxin's memories. That's why it's so confusing because I don't know who is now in love with Ye Junqing, Mowan or Moxin. Before Moxin's death, she loves Ye Hongyi wholeheartedly, bearing his child. Has she fallen out of love with him and in love with Ye Junqing now? What happens to Mowan's memories then when Moxin's memories take over? Was it Mowan's memories when she falls in love with Ye Junqing in the first place, before Moxin's memories emerge?

But in the beginning, it did mention that Mowan's body now consists of Mowan's and Moxin's memories.

That's the confusing part: So Ye Junqing loves Moxin. Now is it Mowan or Moxin that loves Ye Junqing? We know when Moxin marries Ye Hongyi, she truly loves and is faithful to him (Ye Hongyi) and her relationship with Ye Junqing is just platonic. Is it possible that after Mowan lost her memory, she's the real Mowan. When she regains her memory, she becomes Moxin. I guess Ye Jungqing is just as confused as we are.

Episode 27:
Yao Mowan reveals to Ye Junqing that she's actually Yao Moxin. So that may imply that Yao Moxin has possessed Yao Mowan's body, and Yao Mowan is perhaps dead in Yao Moxin's body.

On the surface when everyone sees what the Emperor has done before ...
... his death, viewers find him evil and despicable in wanting to mess up his own brother's, Chengxu's, life. This is exactly Mingyu's and Chengxu's reaction initially. But if one were to look deeper, what the late Emperor has done is actually a brilliant move. Let's look at the scenario before he dies:
There are at least 2 factions within the military and the royal court: Chengxu's army and supporters and Xiao Qi Han's army and supporters. There are also unseen dangers lurking under, such as Xiao Qirong's mother who has a higher status than Mingyu, and foreign invasions. Xiao Chengrui knows that all these people will be fighting for the throne and scheming against each other and the country will be thrown into chaos. With Greater Liang waiting to invade in any moment, he needs to make the best choice for succession. Giving the throne back to Chengxu is not workable because his own son, Xiao Qi Han would surely come up to rebel and would no doubt be killed by Chengxu. Naming Xiao Qi Han the emperor is not ideal either because he's not suitable for the throne and would surely have no match with Chengxu (hence gets killed). The other sons are too young to rule and would need their mothers. Mingyu is the only one that can be trusted and has the ability, and she would never kill anyone that perceived to threaten the throne. That's why he chooses Xiao Qiyuan because this is the only way he can ensure all his children's safety. He knows Mingyu doesn't care about the throne and would gladly give it to Chengxu just to get away from the palace, that's why he has to pass the secret edict to his most trusted and loyal guard to kill Xiao Qiyuan should Mingyu refuse to help her son become the next emperor. All Xiao Chengrui wants is to maintain peace and harmony for the country and the royal court. He knows, this way, indirectly Chengxu will still hold the ultimate power, and without sacrificing anyone within his household.

Xiao Chengrui is a brilliant ruler. What Mingyu has done should not be considered as 'choosing her son over her lover' or 'choosing power over love'. Mingyu comes to understand Xiao Chengrui's plan and knows it's the best for everyone without bloodshed. Viewers should also empathize with Mingyu. As a mother, Mingyu cannot simply abandon her child so that she can be with her lover. That perhaps can be viewed as a good lover but definitely a bad mother.

Which episode are you at? Are you watching on Duboku? I'm taking a short break from this but will probably pick…
When I wrote 5 hours ago, the Emperor has died, and the kid became a baby emperor who turns bratty. But Xiao Chengxu is in control. By ep 42, that brat has grown up and he's another Xiao Chengrui that Chengxu has to deal with again. Like @Dave said, probably it's better for Xiao Chengxu to simply just die instead of enduring all these agonies all over again. Sigh!

Up to epi 42 it is still about failed romance for the leads and even more frustrating a never ending cycle of…
Yeah, I'm through with that hopelessness stage already because I know he'll always be at the losing end until he dies. Despite feeling frustrated, I've decided to enjoy the rest of the story.

After getting through the failed romance and all the hopelessness, this series becomes exciting again. It's well performed and written. The plot is seamless. And of course, our hearts always stay with Xiao Chengxu.

Yu Meng Long's acting is not as robotic as in The Love Lasts Two Minds, but still pretty stiff. When Zhan Qinghong is stumbling while protecting him, he simply stands there not moving a mm until she lands on him, then only he extends his arm reluctantly to catch her. I don't know if this is intended (him to be motionless) or simply poor acting :(

This series is so adorable and .... silly. Love it!
After 5 episodes, I need to add one more term to the series - (it is) intelligent. The plot uses a lot of wit. Nice!
