Agree! Song Wei Long's acting is so boring, even his pretty face can't save it. How I wish Richard Wang or Bi…
Are you sure it's Song Wei Long's acting and not the character he's playing? Feng Cheng Jun is supposed to be a dull (boring) bookworm. So he cannot be as flamboyant as Yu Le Xuan, or as cold and stone heart as the ill-tempered Lei Ao. Song Wei Long's honest bookworm look fits his character perfectly.
In ancient times you can never tell if a girl is just crossdressing because in ancient times. Girls value or women…
So true, and with their loose and layered clothing, it's indeed very hard to tell if it's a feminine body or not unless someone's so pervert to look very intently at every inch of the body. Having said that, the boys did notice that Wen Bin's legs have no hair, like a girl's, they commented. But knowing boys, even when a girl wearing a new hairstyle, they wouldn't have noticed most of the time :D
Geez idk why no one has talked about this yet but even if this is a drama and thus fiction I did not expect Bing…
LOL! Bing Kun's cohorts' action is so expected especially for people who want to win no matter what. It happens all the time, all over the world. This is very relatable to most viewers, perhaps that's why no one mentions it, because it's so common :)
I don't understand why some people are having issues with cross-dressing here. In the old days (in fact still today in many parts of the world), girls were not allowed to go to school even when they are smarter than most boys. In this drama, it is a crime for girls to enter Yun Shang Academy, punishable by death. Therefore, it's pretty logical to see that no one in their wildest dream would suspect Wen Bin a girl; everyone just assumes that 'he' is malnourished (since he has come from an impoverished family) and has stunted growth, which is not at all surprising. As far as makeup is concerned, everyone has makeup in dramas including all the men. Why is it such an issue? Sure Wen Bin has boobs but she's not voluptuous. Using Ju Jing Yi for this character is a perfect choice.
for a moment this reminded me of "royal nirvana," depressing, but beautiful and bittersweet. i guess you shouldn't…
I feel The Song of Glory is a lot better than Royal Nirvana in terms of mental torture (less) as the former does get it reprisals whereas the latter hardly.
I love the archery competition. It's so good... and I love the Wen Bin's character .. petite, yet strong and determined. I'm so glad that they use Ju Jing Yi as Wen Bin. I think she's perfect. She really exudes that charisma that attracts everybody. No wonder most of the boys are on her side.
- 19-year-old:1. The Cosplayer as Lollipop (Minor role Dubbed voice)2. A Legend of Chinese Immortal as Lan Cai…
Of all his work, which is his masterpiece in your opinion? I've watched his latest 3 dramas before this one. I love him in Love of Thousand Years, but the ending was confusing and lazy. I love him in Royal Nirvana, but they made him disappeared in the later episodes. I love him in An Oriental Odyssey, but he became oblivion. I feel the writings could have been better and really do not do justice to the actor. I wish he gets better scripts in future.
This guy is born for period dramas! Even the director commented that Zheng Ye Cheng has the perfect size, built…
I love him in Love of Thousand Years, but the story is disappointing. I love him in Royal Nirvana, but they made him disappeared in the later episodes. I love him in An Oriental Odyssey, but he died. All these poor writings really do not do the actor justice. I wish he gets better scripts in future.
I hope they stop just before the actual historical ending of Liu Yi Kang.
Well, actually if they follow the historical events, it's really not a rosy story. In fact, it's very depressing. But we should not judge a drama simply based on whether the ending is happy or sad; how we've generally enjoyed it should be taken into consideration too, among other factors.
I watched the first few episodes of this drama and decided to drop. What a bully, narcissist, arrogant, male character.…
To the end, he's still a self-absorbed moron. It's a reflection of many people in the real world, with 1,000 times exaggeration. When I look at him that way, I find him super funny and cute. Though he's lack of empathy, deep down inside, he's kind and a good person. If you're watching a depressing drama, this drama is a welcome distraction :)
