I didn't start this series earlier because I thought Allen Ren was not my favorite actor. How wrong I was. He's so good in this drama. Together with Seven Tan, they make a perfect pair. I was hooked from episode one. I'm binge watching to catch up.

When the twins are born, the parents say one takes after the father, the other the mother. So it makes sense to have Hu Yitian play the father and then the son.

Do watch it (the anime). It's so good. Just the artwork alone is awesome. The music is equally amazing. Believe it or not, I even cried watching this anime (how tofu can I be!)

It's more fun to watch it in Mandarin with no subs because the subs miss out many important Chinese words (characters) that are very important and provide the purpose in many parts of the story. The humor also lies within the words, how they're spoken and written. Of course that means you'd need to understand spoken and written Chinese, and well, ....

Agree, we normally call a romantic novel 爱情小说 in Chinese. 浪漫 is actually a western phrase as in romance (like the pinyin for romance in Chinese - you get what I mean).
