Jeez! Wonder why they want to write MRF off since he reappears in the sequel in the actual story. I thought they were sticking to the original story. My bad :(

What a gorgeous baby! Didn't know you were watching this, you've been so quiet!
Yes, she's gorgeous, just sleeps and cries most of the times. Other times, she is wrapped in a bundle, for one whole year from birth till the end of our hero :D Anyway, I have thoroughly enjoyed this drama, more than other drama adaptations of Jin Yong's novels. I have been lurking around, reading your conversations :D

I mean, generally, most of the older dramas especially C dramas, were so poorly made. C drama viewers basically had no choice but to tolerate the poorly made dramas if they wanted to watch any C dramas at all.

Of the dramas you mentioned, I have only watched Nirvana in Fire. In my opinion, that (NIF) was one of the best dramas in that period. I'm rather selective in viewing as I watch only C dramas, and only of certain periods (no pigtails, no wars - finding those too depressing). So, at that time (2016s), I had no choice but to watch Noble Aspirations, to my dismay, I'm afraid. I'm sure the others you have mentioned here are pretty good, just not my cup of tea :)

Poor viewers of the old days! I watched Noble Aspirations because at that time, there was nothing else to watch. Most of the dramas were so crappy, so was Noble Aspirations especially Li Yifeng's acting. Noble Aspirations 2 was unbearable.
