That's why it's better to rate after watching. A lot starts promising.
Thanks for your advice. I tend to give something high rating when I really enjoy it, and I really enjoy this series from the beginning. Maybe I overrated it or maybe it would improve and deserve a 10/10 in the end. We'll see. 🙂

Well, I was thinking, if it's good and I'm really enjoying it, with high rating, it may attract more viewers. If everyone only rates after finishing the whole drama, then the rating would have been low until it finishes airing, no?
Most Actors and actresses of China's Gen Z(or a little older) are really good, they're uninhibited and isn't very…
I agree with you 100%. That's why I love watching those dramas with no big names. Though actors in these lower rated dramas not as prominent, they are authentic. Therefore, viewers must not judge a book by its cover.
Nice review - I am also glad they didn't make the three of them a love triangle. You were so quiet I didn't realise…
Hehehe! I've been lurking around like a "jiaosha". In fact, you were the one telling us about the love triangle thing in the novel. Glad this is not the case here in the drama. When are you coming to the US? Make sure you check the latest updates about Covid requirements for entry :)
Oh..May be the director asked her to underplay it given her characterization..Did you particularly meant HS talking…
Yes, I have the same feelings about Yang Mi too. At times, I feel tired with her scenes though I'm still very invested in the drama. Her voice also bothers me, too chipmunk like as a general, and too authoritative as a daddy's girl. When I close my eyes, I can see she is holding her scripts and reading from them. There're very little expressions and emotions.

Not only in the scene with the death of her mother, but generally, when she was sobbing, it feels fake to me. Her talking is also not natural. She just doesn't feel as natural as she was in TMPB. Maybe it's the directing, or it's the script of her personality, or it's her acting. What do you think?
