I know how you feel. I felt the same. I've been walking, eating like a zombie for weeks :D Come to think of it, it's weird how a drama can affect us like this. Must have been such great writing, directing and acting. I even checked out the BTS, especially for Chen Xing Xu's last scene - he couldn't even control himself. That was 100% authentic!

I agree that Liang Jie was very good in The Eternal Love 1 (I only watched the first one). I really liked her there. But in this drama, the character is badly written, and she hasn't performed that well; she hasn't given the viewers a lovable character. The way she speaks is weird as if she's reading from a script, very unnatural and stiff. Her voice is weird, this is probably due to the poor voice acting and nothing to do with her. Nonetheless, all these minuses bring her down as she hasn't given the viewers a character that we really love and empathize with.

The Wei Wuxian charater in the drama is not as dark as he originally was in the novel. It gives a totally different feeling, and yet the character is still very lovable and fun to watch. Don't drop it. Give it a chance. Many of us, novel readers or not, have loved this drama so much :)

I love the Zhao Xiao Qian's character precisely because Zeng Shun Xi manages to portray this character so well. Indeed he has an amazing aura, especially when he is angry, he still doesn't lose his princely charisma. I love that he's a bully in a good way, bulldozing everything that is in his way. Sometimes, one needs to be a bully to defeat the bullies. It's excruciating to watch a softie trying to be kind when facing the unscrupulous people. I love the tit-for-tat stuff. I'm bad :D
