Since everyone else is covering drooling over these fine ass men, a couple of random thoughts:
For the first time I understood why Yak and Dee are holding back on a real relationship. Yak is about to become a world champion boxer, probably traveling outside of Thailand to compete, and being in a relationship where he can't be out would be really difficult. Dee meanwhile is competing for a scholarship outside of Thailand so he and Yak would be separated regardless. It really is a bad time for both of them to be getting serious with anyone. Hell, even a relationship between Taemrak and Yak would be tough if he's traveling for competitions.
Oye is obviously up to something but it's not cheating. My bet is he went into debt to keep the gym going and he has to pay it back through underground fighting or something else that's similarly dangerous. Poor Cher.
I'm kinda confused/curious about Grace. We don't have any info about her backstory, was she born into that family…
I think she treats Grace as trashy and dumb so doesn't have the same investment in her. It's what Grace said to Dong Hee, the two of them are the "side menu" in their families, not the main course
I'm a goddamned wreck right now 😭😭😭 I literally have tears and snot running down my face and my heart is breaking That whole episode went places I never expected wow
This has been making me a little mental: MDL has the wrong name for the daughter. They spell it Yi Na but it should be spelled I-na the way it is in the Netflix subtitles. In Korean it's spelled 이나, 이 sounds like ee not yee. I hope people start spelling it correctly, my eye is starting to twitch every time I see it wrong.
whoever sees this comment, before i begin the series, is it actually worth 8.4 stars or is it criminally underrated?
I hate MDL ratings so I won't say what it's worth but for me it's on track to be the best drama of the year (won't know for sure until it finishes and we find out if it sticks the landing). It has complex & interesting characters, a tight plot that makes sense with no filler or dead spots, creative cinematography and one of the best OSTs I've ever heard.
Okay.. so, I've just now started the show. Just finished ep 2, and am confused about this FL. I'm the type that…
Don't worry about liking her yet. You're not supposed to at this point of the story. She does get better and you eventually get an explanation for why she's behaving the way she is. It's really well done so I hate to spoil it for you more than that.
