I'm also finding it hard to care about any of them but I can't put a finger on exactly why. I loved the kid who played the ML in the first episode but everything with the adults has fallen flat for me. I'm dropping.

I see a lot of people who got second lead syndrome but I was 💯 team Proctologist-nim all the way. The 2ML felt more like her dongsaeng than a potential bf. And I love that Go-yoon saw Da-eun at her worst and still loved her 😭

her performance is not that but also if you're looking for something quieter this is not your drama

I think you made some valid points here but I will say that people are not more invested in the triangle than they are in the mental health stories. From what I'm seeing online there are many people who've had personal experiences with mental illness who feel seen by this drama.

The production is clearly aiming at educating the audience about mental illness and destigmatizing it which is why narratively it's a bit clunky and basic. But I was still invested in the characters and eps 6-9 were an absolute gut punch for me.

I don't think depressing is the right word. I would say it's terribly sad at times. I finished it last night and I can't stop thinking about it. I don't think I would describe it as healing personally but I'm still glad I watched it. it was a very humane drama full of empathy for suffering people.

I noticed it, especially in the last episode. It felt like they shot a longer drama then had to chop it down to 9 episodes. I still enjoyed the drama but parts were definitely clunky.

- Seo Won watching the how to look cool while driving video and then cleaning the car and putting snacks in it for Hae Na 🤣😍😭

- Awkward Seo Won agreeing that Hae Na looks like pickled radish 🤣 but then pulling off the smoove move of opening the umbrella

- The whole drive to the wedding and getting busted for the video, with Hae Na joking about the guy teaching how to look cool while reversing and Seo Won's face giving away that it was too accurate 🤣

- the look on Seo Won's face when he grabs her hand and they run to the wedding and then how sweetly awkward they both are in the elevator

- him putting the hair clip in her hair ahhhhhhhhh

- Yul, sis and friend plotting to help her get into Seo Won's room and and then her kissing him with dog ears, I died

- the whole scene at the end where she protects him from the dog by tossing her coat over him. Really, every scene where she protects him from a dog is fully killing me from the cute and the sweet 😍😭

I'm sad everyone's bitching about the schedule instead of talking about how cute this episode was because I was kicking my feet and squealing through the whole thing. Yeah it sucks to wait for 2 weeks but this drama is turning into one of my faves of the year.

I love Ray so much and he's my favorite character so seeing him in the finale getting little to no development was so dissapointing. They should have never done the stupid fucking Boeing storyline and instead should've done the rehab/therapy storyline and show how he changed and REAL CONSEQUENCES. Because for me therapy and facing his trauma were the only real consequences he needed to change his behavior and make amends. The way they went about his character was just so underwhelming and the way they dropped arguably the most important nuanced story in the whole show (his addiction and trauma) like is nothing is beyond me. They could've made a real impact and he would've went down as one of the best written/complex characters in any BL ever but nooo. ugh I'm annoyed lol. I could go on an entire rant on how the failed his character and by proxy Sands and his relationship with him but I ain't doing all that on a YouTube comment. I still love him and I'm glad he has his happy ending but damn...

Boston got the right ending 100% idk how tf are ppl disagreeing on that. Like the show never said that he would end up alone for sleeping around he ended up alone bc he's a bad person. I think people forgot in the span of three episodes everything that happened prior. BOSTON IS A BAD PERSON!!. He's cruel, manipulative, he's amused by seeing other people in pain and he feels no remorse or regret for anything he's done. Feeling sad bc he lost ev0erything and everyone is not the same as feeling remorse. And even Nick let him go gently and told him not to blame himself or change his view of love he just told him he chose himself and to have a good life. And don't get me wrong I LOVE Boston but he wasn't going to change in 2 episodes like bffr.

Top and Mew HAVE ALWAYS been a snooze fest loooll. I actually only really enjoyed their scenes in this episode jajaj but still the weakest couple and actors on the show.

And he never really changed. Aside from not drinking (but he's a perfect candidate for a relapse) he was still toxic and manipulative all the way to the end (that business in the pool was awful, like he couldn't just have a conversation with Sand about Boeing?)

Nobody's talking about Kiho's father still being out there stalking him. I'm waiting for daddy to pop up like Freddy Krueger and it's giving me anxiety 😨 those abuse scenes were effing intense and we're getting more in the future for sure.

You make a good point about the writing giving Ray more of a backstory which creates more empathy.

Just one thing I want to make clear, I absolutely do not let Sand or Boeing off the hook for behaving poorly. Sand in particular, breaking his phone so that he could steal the recording off of Nick's phone is literally criminal behavior. it Every character on the show displayed toxicity, even the softer ones like Mew and Nick.

He was also excellent in Midnight Motel

Even Sand was icky, breaking his own phone so he could get the audio off Nick's phone was messed up.

Because he had his fingers crossed on the poster I was waiting for that to happen, that he'd had a one night experience with Ray.

Regarding Boston, healthy polyamorous relationships require a lot of open communication and a clear discussion of boundaries. For example, I've known couples who will only have threesomes. They've agreed not to go off on their own to have sex with another person. There's nothing shameful about being in a poly relationship but a healthy relationship does not consist of one person having sex with whoever they want before reaching an agreement with their partner and without regard for their feelings. That was Boston's big fuckup. Not that he hooked up with Boeing. It was that he did it unilaterally without talking to Nick about what their agreement was going to be for the duration of their relationship. And until Boston learns to be more considerate of his partners, no, he shouldn't be in a serious relationship.
