ive seen some people doubting if gorya has feelings for thyme and ive to say to those people, Are you actually…
Also Thyme should've taken the time to explain to her what was going on and what his plan was to make sure they could be together. He just told her to be patient but Gorya isn't the kind of person who can just sit on the sidelines and wait. Kavin paid her the respect of explaining how important the funeral was and Ren paid her the respect of warning her about Lita's feelings. Thyme loves Gorya but wasn't treating her as an equal partner. Both Thyme and Gorya have to grow up some more before they can be together.

I love this comment, and I’m totally on board with more sexy content! We deserve it!I feel like the show has…
If you've read the manga you'll know that it's stuffed with sex. I haven't read the whole thing but I've seen scenes of Domyouji and Makino rolling around in bed topless, you know, typical teen stuff. And the rest of the F4 and kids at the school are just having sex all the time. So it's interesting to me that most of the filmed versions sublimate the sexual aspects of the story. I get it because it's teens and kind of unseemly to show too much sex on screen but it also means you're not getting the full understanding of how much of the dynamic between the ML/FL is about sexual desire.

Couple questions: Are you watching the show? And, are you here for discussion? (or did you just intend to leave…
I had twitter conversations like this after Episode 7 when someone posted That Scene on Twitter with no context and there was a huge freakout. It's hard to tell people yes that's awful but it's supposed to be awful and the storytellers aren't letting him off the hook for his behavior and there's real character development in this version. Because honestly if someone is having a visceral bad reaction it's justified, especially because one in four women have experienced intimate partner violence and I think the show will be triggering a.f. for a lot of people even with all the wonderful character development.

Alright, so I've been waiting for a discussion about the Kaning / Kavin scene at the beginning of the episode…
Kavin flirts because it's his default and he's super smooth and good at it BUT his behavior with Kaning is so much more than that. For one thing, in other episodes you see him smile but his eyes are ice cold. With Kaning, the smile reaches his eyes and he lets out genuine laughs with her, something he hasn't done with anyone else. Plus helping her with Lita's order, he's willing to engage with her on her ground (remember in the 4000 baht episode he brings her to his home to intimidate her).

But most importantly, when he arranged for the flower shop to work the funeral, it was an acknowledgement of the respect that Gorya and Kaning have both earned from him. And he's not someone whose respect is easily earned. He's been the member of the F4 who's been the gatekeeper for their power and status in the world. So the whole bit where he tells Kaning to be more careful with the flower arrangements? Is his expression of deep respect and regard for her and Gorya.

Now are they end game romance? That I don't know because that storyline has played out differently in every version. But right now it's clearly established that Kavin thinks Kaning is someone special (as she is!).

I saw a tweet yesturday On Twitter that said there is like a connection between lita and ren related to their…
I think the color connection is through Gorya. Whenever anyone in the story wears green it's a sign they are aligned with or getting closer to Gorya.

Why would I have to choose? I ship them as a couple so I’m rooting for both of them equally!
This! I love both of them and aside from shipping them I am invested in them individually and I want both of them to grow into better people. The journey each of them is taking is compelling.

Stupid comment, but I have to share it. LolAm I the only 1 who saw that Bright is having a hair loss? He has pretty…
I noticed it during 2gether and alas it won't get better over time. There are treatments available but what a drag that he has to deal with it.

To be honest I see both sides of the story. I understand where Gorya is coming from and I understand where Thyme…
Since Gorya has known Thyme:

1) He gave her a red card which led to her almost being sexually assaulted (only stopped by Ren, not Thyme)

2) He kidnapped and offered a her a bribe in exchange for her integrity

3) He got her beaten up because his poor behavior with Hana made Gorya collateral damage

4) He raised his fist to her in a jealous rage

5) She was verbally abused by his mother

6) He got engaged and is appearing in public with his fiance

7) He asked Gorya to be patient and wait for him but never explained why or for how long.

As I'm reading the above I feel a little crazy for still shipping them and honestly the only reason is I do because I can see how hard Thyme is struggling to be a better person and how much progress he's made plus Gorya actually wants him for some very good reasons. But it's not enough yet. Thyme still has to grow and change more to deserve Gorya. She had every reason to back out at this point. Also, the poor girl says she's exhausted and I feel that. I just wanna feed her soup and give her a quiet space to nap.

I've been contemplating a lot on this episode, specifically how well I thought they played Gorya breaking things…
Everything you said right here! Plus the show is signaling hard that Thyme still isn't ready or deserving of Gorya. He puts on his animal print jacket when he returns home to deal with the funeral. He gets almost violently angry with Gorya when she breaks it off with him. Plus he isn't treating her as an equal. When Kavin arranged for the flower shop to work the funeral and then carefully explained to the girls what was going on and why it was important, he paid Gorya way more respect than Thyme did in this episode. When Thyme is ready to truly see Gorya as his equal in every way, that will be when he deserves her and they can be together.

Thanks for the summary! That’s really interesting and I agree, it relates well to Gorya and Thyme. His life…
That's why I've been saying that any woman who desires men (sexually, as partners, as the father of her children) is Gorya. We are all engaging with the beast every single time. We are all facing a potentially annihilating threat.

That was heartwrenching to read. I hope her children reach out to her when they're old enough.

Really? I think that part where she talk to thyme (with the lakorn in the background) show that she is indeed…
The expression on her face during the birthday countdown totally sold me on her feelings for him. She's conflicted but the feelings are definitely there.

Agree on this. It's at the start of episode 7 but you could skip the first part of the episode on YouTube since each episode is broken up into five separate parts and then just watch the rest. I gave some people a heads up about the scene before they watched so they could opt out if they wanted to because it really is awful and potentially triggering (though I agree it is not romanticized).

I think they are setting us up for Gorya to step up and engage with Thyme as an equal. The title of the episode…
I think Thyme didn't invite her in a misguided attempt to protect her. Also he says he prefers her world to his own so maybe he wants to keep her there because that's when he's most connected to her. But Gorya is too big a star (literally!) to be contained that way. Thyme has to stop patronizing her and pay her the due respect of acknowledging her power to navigate his world.

I was actually surprised when i saw this on Tu's insta story. I thought i overlooked that part but then i realized…
I agree, we're only halfway through the story and Thyme still has a lot of growing to do. His reaction makes sense at this point of his journey.
