I think the relentless slavering is worthy of poking fun at, myself. Particularly when any attempt to discuss the actual drama (e,g. bad writing) IS derailed by the same mad fans.

FWIW I think his acting is fine in this (as it is in most things). It's not amazing, like those actors who disappear into the character (e.g. Lee Je-hoon) but it's decent. But the drama itself is a little bland. I kind of expected a Move to Heaven or Tomorrow and I got . . . well. this.

Because people have different opinions and this is the place to express them, despite 'Wookie' (simper, drool) being in it?

My favourite character in this is Son. He's almost as amazing as Woori from BTIMFL.

That 'kiss' in episode 6. Does the 2FL have really, really bad breath or was it meant to be a kiss of contempt?

I've not yet seen Jung So Min turn in a performance that's anything less than 100%. She's one of those actors who become the character (see also Shin Hae Sun and Lee Je-hoon).

Good cast, good director but rookie writer (the latter might not be a bad thing).

The leads were charming but the writing was a mish-mash of strung-together tropes (none of them in the least bit 'subverted' by the way) from a rookie writer and a director largely known for crap.

I'm kind of a sucker for no romance - unless its a fundamental part of the plot (or a romance drama). Too often, I think, romance is shoehorned into kdramas to keep the squeakers happy. It's not always necessary and sometimes it drags the quality/story down.

I noticed quite a lengthy Kokpo sequence, too. With dialogue about how it perks you up *cringe*
