I still feel betrayed by the ending of episode 8 because i feel like that timeline was left incompleted... And I will never move on from the fact that Sol reseted the timeline and erased herself from not only Sunjae's but also her friends 😠That vacation by the ocean was too lovely to be erased from any of their memories... The most selfless character award goes to Sol.
You wouldn't expect a show named MR. PLANKTON make you cry, right? BUT IT MADE ME CRY SO MUCH.
I haven't even finished it yet, but considering the very first scene of the show and foreshadowing, the ending will be a tough one but it is not even the biggest part of my misery. I am just sad about the whole story of Jaemi and Haejo. They are just so... Tragically (and scarily) beautiful. Or it was just their characters that had such an emotional dynamic for me? I haven't decided yet. Two deeply traumatized people who represent the deep exploration of low self-worth, shared loneliness, and the search for belonging, redemption and love. Nobody's son, nobody's daughter. One wants to break the generational trauma and be a good parent to the child she birthes, the other doesn't believe the idea of breaking the wheel. One has an early menopause which represents the loss of a chance to have the thing she wants the most in her life-a family and ALSO the unbearable pressure of cultural expectations for women to conform the traditional and conventional standards. The other questions her acceptance of social norms -even in the lives of the people who are supposed to love her uncoventionally- encouraging her to experience the life beyond expectations and just run till the end without thinking about the destination. One constantly rejects the existence of the other because it is the only thing she is capable of to maintain control in a life that trapped and made her suffer since her birth, the other just "wants to have fun" during the journey to the sweet death.
And the fact that her illness was also metaphor for his final breakdown... This show was so great actually. It was never a "romcom" when you think about it. Jami and and Haejo's story was not merely a romance that ended tragically. It was a dynamic to show how complex, twisted and sometimes fucked up human relationships can be and how it can influence their moralities and the "love" they shared.
Anyway you will see me coming here to cry tonight because only one episode is left...
It is insane that the poster hasn't been released yet... It was confirmed when I was getting ready for the entrance exams, now I am a 2nd year university student
i think the bomber guy texted ‘master’, who is likely one of the fathers (future president or chairman)
It would make sense because the "master" said to the kidnapper not to do anything unless he is ordered to and we saw her checking the news but would she really go that far? She obviously cared abt their image too much

I thought about both too because his father is jealous of him and the chairman... Idk he is just sus. His father would want to harm Saeon by divorcing them but being part with the chairman would first hurt himself... Then there is chairman, he would want to hurt Heejo but the kidnapper didn't specifically want to hurt Heejo and it seems like he wants to divorce them too. Idk my brain hurts now lol
She literally did not make any media appearance in 2024 despite still being in top 10 of popularity lists... I can't wait to see what will happen next year when both of her anticipated dramas get aired.
