Depends how fast or slow it feels to the individual then. Personally I thought the mad plotting, revenge and politics moves quite fast in this drama. It's one of the Cdramas that moves the fastest in this regard. Many things were always going on with multiple characters and side plots. I think that's why it never felt slow even if certain things never happened till later on in the drama.

Same. I guess it does help when a main lead literally comes back from being buried alive to stir things up completely lol. And everyone looses to her.

It's why I nicknamed this one Romance of Female General lol. Her love story is more of the main focus. Not that ai'm complaining, but just the way it's portrayed you wouldn't think that

I'm on Ep 29 and I feel the same way about the plot. Couldn't care about it at all. I'm really only slogging through it for the leads as they are really cute together (Gong Jun's character flirting since the beginning has helped too, iykyk) and with the addition of 'their child' Chengling too. But I know it's really only the last few episodes which get more intense. So I'm nearly there, it's just felt like it's taken forever 🫠

Only a year later did I realise Meng Xi Bai was Tian Xu Ning! I must have been blind... Tbf I wasn't into the second couple as much and only fell for him when I watched his BL drama Revenged Love 🙈

Yes they pinned on every dream actor so you will feel more depressed when it doesn't ever release. Eternally waiting and eternally depressed

Are we ever going to get this drama or just eternally waiting? With a cast like that we can't NOT get this. Yet another drama where the wait will make us immortal

I watched this a few months ago and found it so entertaining. Part 1 is definitely better than Part 2 though, rated this part just a little bit higher

If you want to watch just for him, then sure. The plot itself was quite boring otherwise. I thought the vibes in When I Fly Towards You was a lot better overall.

Yess I think this is why the drama worked so much. If he seemed reluctant or against her behaviour it would have seemed off putting. But he was totally willing to out up with all her whims as he clearly found her very endearing.

I would love it if these 2 were paired up again in another cute but chaotic live story too. A historical would be nice! I don't think you're over thinking at all, we could definitely do with more of this pairing... Until then I'll just have to wait until my yearly rewatches of this drama lol

Definitely not. The characters, the vibes, the OST are all just one of a kind. Even within Cdrama itself it's hard to find another youth romcom that lives up to this one IMO. The absolute 🐐

You also seemed to miss the point that people can perceive you wrongly for being violent too, even if you only do so to someone in return. That you then equated this out of nowhere to Dylan being cyber bullied is just WILD in this context. And utterly bizzare as I said previously. The police report and physical violence - it was directly to do with your previous comment where you said if someone punched you the victim would be right to retaliate. Which isn't the same as this situation at all. I mentioned that you brought in a completely unequal example of physical violence into what is just a petty public argument between Dylan and SY.

If you read his post you would know he explicitly said he didn't find a problem with it until fans/netizens were analysing it and then he also had a problem with it. "Why is it so necessary that these two people satisfy CP fans?" it has nothing to do with CP fans and not sure why they are brought up here 😐. Dylan and SY are co-stars in the same industry. The whole industry collaborate together, and so many are on reality shows and TV shows together. It's not just dramas that they work together on. It's sad that they won't appear together or even amongst a group like their many other co-stars. Life goes on and so do careers outside all of this stuff.

I don't need your pity thanks. I have approached situations with adult maturity because I have also been considerate of other people's feelings. I have recognised it's also not just about myself, and I have managed to remain on okay terms with those people when needed too. It's a shame Dylan hasn't been able to do the same, and from now on it's unlikely we'll see him and SY on close terms when this could have all been avoided if maybe he messaged her privately.

I HAVE experienced being verbally abused and verbally humiliated publically. I did not call another person out in front of dozens of other people but rather addressed it privately. If you want to punch someone or verbally abuse them back then that's on you - and you can't blame others for how you will be perceived for doing so. Being the mature adult is what's more important here. I do not go around making social media posts because I'm upset with someone, and it comes across quite petty to do so.

Because always it's the person's reaction that is criticised. A lot of times annoying or bad things happen publicly, but it's more the person reacting to it that is looked upon. No one has forced them to act as such, they willingly do so.

Yes I agree that the public reaction is ridiculous and over the top, but they did not force HIM to go and write a public Weibo post. He sided with them instead of pushing back against them. It's ironic because in the past SY fans also disliked how he behaved with her at times and criticised him for it, but she would publicly defend him. If she was upset about anything we don't know because she didn't create any fuss publicly. Whereas when his fans go against her he sided with them, and publicly calls her out instead of doing what she did.
