In Ep31, I'm so happy to see Yuan Qi having life in his eyes again. Ever since Daze Mountain perished, he has lost some spark in his eyes. Then he was pressured left and right by those immortals while still grieving. Then he had to punish the one he loves most and end up killing her mistakenly. And seeking her for a thousand years, holding on to that little hope, and physically getting weaker. All we saw in him was nothing but sadness and guilt, and no will to live.
But after finding Ayin again, he's starting to look a little livelier. He's starting to show other emotions again besides sadness and guilt. It's like he's got the will to live again. Though....we know his days are numbered based on his situation TT^TT
I really hope we'd get a HE and not a BE like the novel. Though I've read that the novel also did have a special ending which became HE. But I don't want a special 5 mins HE for Last Immortal. I want Last Immortal to end OFFICIALLY WITH A HAPPY ENDING. I want a whole final episode of it, please.
Feng Yin and Yuan Qi suffered way too much to not deserve a happy ending. They have both made so much sacrifices for each other and even for others. Ep37's preview is just so sad and I hope Yuan Qi can be revived by the end of Ep38 or at least beginning of EP39!!!
I love Feng Yin cos she's not just smart, powerful and calm, but she's also very, very petty. The rain on Yuan…
Yaaassss well said! I'm so glad she was petty. Hahaha. And not only to Yuan Qi, but also to others who mistreated her. In fact, I don't even think what she did, especially to others like Ling Feng, or later on to Hua Shu, could even be considered petty because they all deserved it. I'm tired of FLs having the biggest heart towards those who aren't even the dearest to her, and always wanting to be the bigger person by forgiving someone who treated her terribly in the past. Watching her get back at them was SO satisfying.
Daily reminder that Ayin and Gujin no longer exist😂
Noooo they will live forever let me just go back to episode 2 hahahahah. But on a serious note, I really miss the carefree Ayin and Gujin. Especially when they were happy in the mortal realm without having to worry much. :(( with great power comes great responsibilities, and both Yuan Qi and Feng Yin are stuck with that. I really hope they get their happy ending. They have both suffered so much.
I want to smack whoever made the airing schedule for this drama.
I actually think we're lucky here because we have 3 days with double episode and only 1 day with single episode. Most of the time, they only have 2 days with double and 2 days with single.
Their Mirror of Truth definitely needs some major upgrade and firewall to prevent hacking....lol
Hahaha no I'm not in IT But seriously, the Mirror of Truth has lousy battery life too. 🤣 It was hilarious when it suddenly stopped working coz it ran out of battery rofl
I don't blame Yuan Qi either and I feel bad for him too. He's in a tough spot. With all the decisions he's made…
I'm not sure what the English subs were coz I got impatient and watched it with Chinese subs lol. But you are right. He did say "once" regretted. But honestly, that still sounds just as hurtful. Hahahah. I can't imagine if a friend told me they "once" regretted meeting me, even though they may not feel that way now. That would honestly break me. Not to mention hearing these words from someone whom I love with all my heart.
I agree he's trying to protect her for sure and since he made a decision to sacrifice their relationship before, he'd be more determined to see to it this time now that so many people have died.
But thanks for mentioning one thing that I overlooked, and that is for the other immortals to leave her alone. When he was Gu Jin, it made sense that they should stick together to protect each other. But now he is no longer Gu Jin but Yuan Qi with hella responsibilities on his shoulders. He can no longer be willful and protect her the way he used to :( i do look forward to seeing him adapting to his new status though.
Yeah, It's true from A Yin's perspective, but I guess he said that to mislead everyone else --- confuse them into…
But he even said it in private... :(( I pity him but that's just too mean. He could've clarified it with her when it was just the two of them. He's being mean to her all over again like when he destroyed his affection thread.
Unpopular opinion, but I don't think there's anything else Yuan Qi could do right now when the evidence points…
I don't blame Yuan Qi either and I feel bad for him too. He's in a tough spot. With all the decisions he's made until his people died to save him, it was devastating. But to say that he regretted meeting Ayin, that's just way too cruel in my opinion.
I get where he's coming from and maybe he was partly speaking out of guilt, thinking if he hadn't met her, none of those people would have to die, and himself and Ayin wouldn't have to suffer. But honestly, saying he needed to be fair hence the punishment was enough. He didn't have to say those hurtful words after, because Ayin was clearly hurt not because of the punishment, but because she thought he didn't trust her and thought she meant nothing to him. His words exactly implied what Hong Chou has been saying to Ayin.
Though, I guess he's trying to push her away again like what he did when he destroyed his affection thread. Being mean to her, then secretly helping her. But he needs to know that some words can't be taken back once they've been said, and he broke her heart the same way twice.
Is nothing sacred in the Heavenly Realm? Even the Mirror of Truth can be edited to one’s motives???I don’t…
GJ is supposed to go to the God Realm as well in ep24, but he said he's got unfinished business so he's staying. I'm glad he stayed instead of just saying okbye I'm true god now this isn't my problem anymore. At least he's got a sense of responsibility not just to avenge his Daze Mountain family, but also get to the bottom of this because his friends are involved. That being said, I still can't forgive him for hurting Ayin so badly twice even though I pity him too. But my poor Ayin did nothing wrong and she's always either taking the blame or getting her heart broken TT^TT
Can't wait to see badass Feng Yin come back to get revenge on these pathetic immortals who bullied Ayin when she was just a little harmless beast. But that also means it's byebye to our pure and innocent Ayin and Gu Jin 🥲🥲
I'm with you. I didn't hate his character, but I wasn't a fan of his foolishness at first when it came to Hua…
Good point. I remember Xiu Yan telling Ayin that she must have offended a great being, or she is the great being itself. So in a way, Gu Jin is also her tribulation, and it's part of the price she has to pay for regaining her life.
I might be the only one, but I'm a fan of Gu Jin by episode 24. It's true that he bears the blame for Phoenix's…
I'm with you. I didn't hate his character, but I wasn't a fan of his foolishness at first when it came to Hua Shu. Then again, he's a simple person who means harm to nobody, so that's expected of him. But since the last few episodes, seeing him standing firm for his own beliefs, even if it meant defying his aunt or even giving up his true god status, I've come to admire his character and perspectives. I like that he values his friends and family at Daze Mountain more than his so-called "home" and true god status which his aunt keeps reminding him off. He's clear about what he wants, and he won't sway once he has made up his mind.
I'm not sure if I'll still think fondly of him as things progress in later episodes. But even so, seeing how he's still not giving up in episode 1 shows that he's still the same Gu Jin regardless of his status.
I also love the bond among these 4 friends. I'm curious how things would turn out if Ayin goes to the Nether Realm though. That place seems interesting.
Since nobody currently knows Gu Jin (aka Yuan Qi's ) true identity Here is what they know of him currently is…
I take back what I said about Lan Feng for now after watching episode 14. Hahahah nobody's perfect but at least he didn't disappoint by sticking to the rules even when it involved Hua Shu's family.
But after finding Ayin again, he's starting to look a little livelier. He's starting to show other emotions again besides sadness and guilt. It's like he's got the will to live again. Though....we know his days are numbered based on his situation TT^TT
