Gave this movie a watch because of the promising lead actors and well, I actually enjoyed it. The theme is fresh and unique.

Plot-wise there was not much going on, but since the genre was rom-com, the comedy and the acting made up for the lack of plot and story build up. All the actors delivered well especially Ha Ji Won, although the plot was very simple, she didn't disappoint with her great acting skills and facial expressions.

Overall it was a short, weird, but cute and funny movie. It was a very light and easy watch, enough for all types of viewers to enjoy it. However, for those thriller movie lovers planning to watch this, just a heads up, it was more on the comedic side than the actual thriller. I recommend this for rom-com lovers who are looking for something new to watch, the movie is just an hour and forty minutes long plus you get to see Ha Ji Won's cute acting.

Out of some of the Chinese dramas I've watched I think this one really caught my attention. What got me hooked with this drama is first, the plot and the characters.

We all know that the cold hearted, lonely, rich guy ceo role is overly used in many dramas, but in this one, I found it cute. Next is the alien girl. Her character is what really stood out for me the most. She's not shy, demure, emotional, whiny, but the opposite of it all. She's strong, brave, funny, and bold. She doesn't allow anyone to just push her over, which I appreciate.

As for the plot, I like how this drama is very simple. No too many bad people, and that there's not much conflict to make you frustrated. Some parts are corny but just the right amount enough to find it funny instead of being too cringe-worthy. Some scenes made me feel like it was trying to copy a romcom Korean drama but I liked it because dramas in Korea rarely do it anymore (maybe because they felt that it was already overused) and I missed it. Maybe i'm just corny that way. T_T

Second, is that the actors in this drama are all good acting wise. They have good chemistry and are good looking people especially the male lead Bie Thassapak Hsu. He sure is one hot man and i'm sure not even an alien can resist him.

The only downside i guess of this drama would be there might be some plot holes, and that the story might just revolve on one thing. However, overall, the drama is simple, cute, heart-warming and fluffy enough for you to smile and laugh the whole time you're watching this. It might not be as memorable but it is an entertaining watch if you would watch it purely for what it is, and let go of over analyzing the scenes.

For those attempting to watch this drama, i'll recommend you to watch this only if you are really bored and have nothing else to watch!

The first six to seven episodes were really entertaining, and it will hook you to watch this fluffy drama, but the latter parts of the show really bore me no matter how impressive and promising the start was, and no matter how much i like the actors in this drama. It would have been better for me if they'd cut this to 10 or 12 episodes instead, because it truly felt like a forced and dry makjang drama to me by the latter parts to just add some more plot to the story.

However, I must say the actors were really good in executing their roles, the only real problem was the bad writing and story plotting for this drama. The evil character was really good at expressing and acting out her frustration. She really looked mean, it just lacked the powerful scenario. The writer decided to just remove her into the story, without a really strong exit.

I must say the casting was great, the outfits/ fashion in this drama was really good, and OSTs are very nice to listen to, that its just sad that the plot line and the story build up has gone to waste.

I'd be honest here. I decided to give this show a try because the story line was unique and it seemed really promising. Historical Romance that involves reincarnation? I'm in! The chosen leads looked great too. Victoria and Johnny Huang were really great in terms of portraying their roles, and even their expressions, really great actors! Plot-wise also it was not too cheesy and cringey unlike other chinese dramas out there, i'd give it that.

I was really drawn to this drama in the first few episodes, but in the middle of the series, the direction of the drama and the plot line started to lose itself. The plot line was getting all over the place with other unnecessary characters coming in, and inserting scenes that are not even needed at this point. I just continued and watched the drama for the sake of finishing it. I did not get to feel all the feels I expected to get while trying to finish this. oh, and the ending felt rushed as well. They might as well give them a happy reunion or something for the viewers to be happy about but instead it made me ask 'HOW IS THAT AN ENDING?'

The drama had no single memorable OST/Music used, and was really bland in that aspect, which made the drama even more bland than it already is.

and now as I write this review, it made me further realize that nothing was answered in the end. A longer airtime and better scriptwriters would've solve the problem for this drama. But its over. I feel bad that such a beautiful plot idea has been wasted.

Overall, I give this drama a 6/10 as the first half of the series was good enough to deserve a 6, however towards the end, it was really a disappointment.

When talking about mini series this drama delivered well. I did not find it corny for a timeslip school themed drama, because some usually have weird and cliche plot lines, but this mini drama did not disappoint me a single bit. The plot  was very direct to the point, and I liked how it had a good ending and plot twist at the end! Very well written. So you guys better not drop this drama I tell you. I just wish it was a bit longer because after watching it I felt like I need to see more and know more, but I guess i have to move on now..

Also, for the leads, they  were good at portraying their roles, and aside from that I just love how they were able to match these two actors! They just had a wonderful chemistry!

for those looking for quality mini dramas, i suggest you guys try this one. It is not something that will let you become emotionally invested on but it is a good drama when you want to feel light and satisfied at the same time, because this drama will leave you smiling by the time you reach the end.

enjoy!

Queen for Seven Days made me cry on each episode. It was not boring and it definitely gave me a roller coaster of feels every single time. I love how the writer gave these characters really distinct characteristics, which adds up to why the drama is so interesting. There were very intense and serious scenes but i liked how they throw some sweet and cheesy scenes with the couple as well. The drama just plays with your emotions great enough for you to never let go of it. All in all the drama was carefully written although the plot was simply sibling rivalry for the throne and love for the same woman, it was not draggy nor slow for me.

For the acting I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. The actors were definitely perfect for the role each and every one of them. Everytime I see Yeon Woojin kiss or hug Park Min Young my heart flutters. He just kisses so gently *screams* I swear. This drama made me ship them. Yeon Woojin needs to do more saeguk dramas it suits him so much, he could pull off any costume and not look bad on them this drama can attest to that from prince, rebel, palace guard, to even king he'd look handsome and i bet he'd pull the lines too!

Music was definitely wonderful! If i could name the songs I like Love Again by Dear Cloud is one of them. This was like the tear jerker of all the ost's it helped me sob more while the drama was playing. And another would be the cute songs Dazzling You by Yoo Yeon Jung of Cosmic Girls, & When the Moonlight Shines on You by Fromm.

Would I watch it again tho? I don't know, i cried so much that i don't want to go through it again. However for people who do not easily cry, i'm sure you'd want to watch it again because it just absolutely beautiful.

This drama is absolutely a 10/10.

I fell in love with the sequel even more than the first one and i am so glad i decided to give it a go! I'm sad i wasn't able to watch it as soon as it was out, because i loved every single moment of Naoki and Kotoko in Itazura na Kiss 2!

The story line was very well written, despite the lack of flow of things, the entertaining events that happen to both Naoki and Kotoko were enough to make it very well balanced. We get to see the characters we love grow and become mature adults. We get to see their synergy as a couple, and how they could be each others confidante and source of strength. It has always been the one sided love of Kotoko shown in the show but in this sequel, we finally get to also find out what made Naoki love Kotoko too!

After their marriage, the stone cold-hearted Naoki looks at his wife with the most heartwarming gaze, he smiles, and laughs, and definitely soften towards Kotoko's feelings. I just love how sweet he is towards his wife in this sequel, he never shys away when telling people that Kotoko is his wife, aside from that he gives away and does whatever his wife tells him to do too! The way he knows his wife the best, and only wishes for the best for his wife just melts my heart. Naoki has become the perfect husband for Kotoko!

I'm also proud of how Kotoko has grown stronger despite still being her happy-go-lucky clumsy self, she has become more wife material for him. I like how her feelings for Naoki still keeps on growing more and more each day despite already getting married, I also love her for continuously telling Naoki she loves him and for pursuing even the most impossible things to be able to be together with her loved one.

Overall, the sequel was nicely wrapped up. We were given all the possible situations that a married couple could go through, and how all of these were surpassed by Naoki and Kotoko together. This series has made me happy, and warm all over. I'll never get sick of all the Itazura na Kiss versions and will keep on rewatching this until I find my Naoki too. <3

This drama is a very nice and sweet drama to watch. The story is funny, light, simple, relatable, and with 8 episodes it is totally binge worthy. I like how nothing was too cheesy and cringe-worthy in this drama.

The characters have their own unique personalities which is what I love in this drama. Despite coming from different family backgrounds they all came together to be friends, and support each other's success and failures without judgement. The development of friendship and romance between the lead characters was very well written and executed too! The actors did great on their roles, Jinyoung and Jisoo did not fail to meet my expectations. They are both very boyfriend and lead actor material.

I also like how the scriptwriter created two opposite characters as best friends namely Tae Oh (Jisoo) an easy going guy who is liked by everyone, and is lucky that he doesn't have to worry about many things, while Do Hyeon (Jinyoung) is mature and realistic when it comes to dealing with his studies, future, and relationships.

I don't know if there will be a season 2 for this because the ending was totally cut off weirdly, well, it can end that way with Tae Oh (Jisoo) finally realizing what how he feels, but if it will have a season two then count me in!!! i will definitely watch out for it. Can't wait for more Do Hyeon because he's totally my type of guy!~

Love in Contract had a good storyline from start to finish. The show had a lot of nice aspects, but there are also some parts that didn't quite go well with me.

The Good - I like how the plot was clean, there was no unnecessary or heavy conflicts that our main leads could not resolve. It was nice how both our ML and FL had their support groups backing them no matter what.
I also appreciated how the writer gave each character their own little moments to shine (e.g. Gwangnam, Haejin, and Miho). The character development for everyone at the end is amazing!

The Bad - I didn't like how every episode was packed with so much product placement, it kind of ruined the show a bit for me.
Next, I felt like the acting was lacking especially since most of the actors in our cast are quite known in the kdrama world already, maybe I expected too much, but it still felt odd and some parts cringey to me.
Last, the first half of the show was built up slowly and carefully making the viewers hooked with each episode, but I think it kind of lost its momentum at the last few. It felt like there are still some things happening but they are just fillers to keep the show going and end it in a way that is acceptable

Overall, it was still a good and fun watch, especially seeing Go Kyung Pyo acting sulky, cute, and just plain adorable.
It has also been quite a long time since we have gotten a fluffy kdrama romcom, and this one is something that could satisfy our cravings!
