That could be True about giving him more screen time but I think that was the writers and directors intention all along. Everyone is hype about Guo jia because of his recent drama A Ancient Love Song was a big hit. In this case production was just using his fame to get viewers to watch. I remember same thing happen to the ML from Maid Revenge his next drama was Bride Revenge but he was just a supporting role but production sold it like he was the ML or play a major role while he only appeared in few scenes but the Villain and FL had more screen time half of the drama we didn't even see him so the same thing here.

🤣🤣🤣 There were so many scenes were she kept fallen flat. She reminds me of Zhao Lusi a bit they have a hard time getting into emotional scenes or don't know how to express feelings. Lately I can see ZL trying in her acting still got a long way to go, One of the Cdrama actresses that is really good in a romantic scene is the FL from (Why Women Love )she can go toe to toe with her ML to bring out a beautiful chemistry that make you forget they are acting.

Ep 17 hospital scene this girl is crying with no emotion then in the next second try to act cute when he woke up. But all I could see her doing was saying her lines instead of acting .

That the only thing about China most of the good actor are not really catching big breaks. We are stuck with the same one dimensions ML handsome/ pretty boys but no substance in acting.

🤣🤣🤣 Episodes 18 I really wanted to shake her and say girl can you give me some romance or get out of the scene. Director and writers was going for a romantic morning afer a beautiful night. ML is convincing in his acting but home girl was dull and lifeless even the background music and lighting couldn't save her.

Damn I just said the same thing in my opinion he is the ML even if he is playing a villain role, because he had more screen time then Lin Yan and Xiao Mo put together. Guo jia did play well but his Chemistry with FL lead was nonexistent.

I agree with you on the ML acting skills and looks but the FL need more acting classes she is a pretty girl but her chemistry with ML was off. Also she need to know how to carry emotional scenes.

He just need a good script and directing because he got the acting skills.

Guo Jia Nan play his role well but the FL couldn't match his Chemistry. Their chemistry together was lacking which was not his fault because I could see he was really acting while FL couldn't put in the work. Just don't know if it was her acting or expression but something was just off about her. I have seen better mini drama with good chemistry between the leads. The actor playing Ma Chengjun has overshadow them everytime he was on screen in a way I feel like he carry the drama. Guo jia in A Ancient Love Song had a strong and better chemistry with the FL they were so good, and able to convince the audience about their love across time. While in here they couldn't convince me for a second that the two were in love with each other. FL need more acting classes her emotions just couldn't come through she had this blank stare on her face very expressionless. Hope ML lead get better roles with a good writing and directing a FL with better acting skill because you can see he going to get better and better.

FL friend character is getting on my nerves. The boy is stupid for putting up with her that is not love to allow someone walk all over you.

To me he can act but the failure was on the director a bit. Because when you look at him he a very Charismatic guy. So with good directing and coaching and scripts he will do better. You can tell they were directing him to look more like a rich handsome fuck boy.

The FL had a strong romantic attraction for the ML that she herself didn't understand when they first met. From episode one the way she kept looking at him was a look of a woman Interested in a man, not because of the way he was jumping or his height.

But in her mind by their second meeting she thought it was because she wanted to coach and help him. Second meeting ML has already started to realize his attraction for her very strongly, he couldn't keep his eyes off her, always wanted to be near or talking with her. And I think in a way she had a feeling of this thing between them because she started to noticed little things about him, becoming comfortable and joking with him also pointing out their age different for two people who are not even in a relationship yet .

We the viewer's can see her attraction to him what she couldn't see or have a full understanding of yet and Was waiting for her to connect all her dots and realized the reason she has gone such extra lengths for him since their first meeting , 'because he had romantically caught her attention.

By episodes (3) they both were in too deep, him showing he in love her without saying it out loud but his eyes and jealousy said it all. Her being protective, defending, climbing flights of stairs with him on her back in the hospital to treat his ankle. But by episodes (4) I noticed she was denying her own feelings for him and clearly notices his feelings for her but pretending not to. He himself had to take a step back to focus on his sports.

In a way I understand her because he was so many years younger than her, he had just enter college, she was his coach ,wanted him to focus on his sports and studies. she was probably thinking about the consequences they will face in the future especially her who had so much to lose.

I know right men do it why can a woman find a younger man who loves her.
