I was genuinely happy when his noona died, as it highlighted his hypocrisy—what he says only applies to others, not to himself. He can kill others, but not a demon whose purpose is to punish criminals. After his Noona died, his mask of hypocrisy was exposed to everyone.

That guy is Chen Shen. He does beat him up, but it's due to a misunderstanding, and he never even apologizes for it. It was heartbreaking to see and didn’t make Liu Yanze very endearing to me.

I think she didn't get with him just because of pity but rather she wanted to move on from Liu Yanze but yeah I agree she did use him. No Chen Shen was a good guy even in the end, he didn't angry with Liu Yanze at all. He even tried to get them together by giving Xiao Xiao choices and letting her decide who she chooses.

She dates him but later due to her lingering feelings for Liu Yanze, she breaks up with him. I felt she was quite heartless about her relationship with Chen Shen. If she wasn't over her Ex then she shouldn't have tried to move on using Chen Shen who helped her so much and break his heart like that. Even Liu Yanze wasn't very good to Chen Shen and didn't respect his status as the bf of Xiao Xiao.

ML is such a simp. FL can kiss her co-actor and have intimate scenes with him because, for her, it’s strictly professional, and ML doesn’t have the right to be upset—he even has to coax her about it. But ML can’t even touch the hand of another woman (like that Wei Wei girl) without FL feeling upset, and he still has to coax her about it. What a hypocrite she is.
