Bro, I'm almost done with episode 19 right now, but I'm still hating him. When will I start liking him then?

I hated Shang Jue the most in the drama. He is the most irredeemable character for me in the whole story. I don’t understand why people like him, claiming he always supported Gong Ziyu as the Sword Wielder and only provoked him to motivate him. That’s like saying I hit my partner just so she can build resilience, not to satisfy some twisted desire.

Ah, I see what you mean! I guess I didn’t pay as much attention to how spineless he was in the first half, but now that you mention it, I can see why it would be frustrating. At least he had some good character development and redemption by the end, which is always satisfying to watch. And yeah, the FL in Lady of Law definitely had his back, which made their dynamic more balanced compared to the one here. It's always nice when the FL shows that level of loyalty and support!

I didn't even remember Vin Zhang and Elvis Han, lol. Yeah, they're also among the few Chinese actors who look older than their age. Thanks for reminding me, 😂. I haven't watched Kingdom yet, but it's on my PTW list.

Was the ML in Lady of Law really that bad? I remember watching the drama when it was airing, and aside from the doctor SML situation, their relationship felt quite balanced to me. I found the drama overall to be average, with the romance being very good. Despite it being a noona romance, the FL was the aggressor in the relationship, but the cases were quite boring.

I do think Zeng Shunxi looks older than his age but maybe only I find him older. I agree with you that Wang Xingyue looks much older than his age of 22. I don't find much mature looking actors in Cdramas except for a few that I mentioned.

ZWY is older than CS!!!! I thought CS was older because his looks are more matured but he is really young. I have only seen two other actors Chen Xingu and Zeng Shunxi who look older than their age and was shocked by their ages. I guess Ci Sha is a new entry on that list.

This drama has so many beautiful female leads; I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many in one show. Each of them has their own unique charm and appeal, which will make it even more enjoyable to watch.

I think the accident involving the ML in episode 20 will show both the ML and us her changes much better, especially if she truly loves him. Her thoughts regarding marriage should also begin to shift, considering she could have lost him in the accident.

That's really impossible to request. It can only happen naturally when the novel becomes very popular and producers take notice of it.
