Same lmaoo what even is that ?? You'd think in 2022 they would stop with the bad writting but nope.
No but even episode 2 was wtf. "You're so not cool..." ??? And the confession in the elevator ?? I haven't seen episode 3 but apparently she kisses him? Ouf of nowhere ? How do these actors read scripts like that and think "ah yes, that makes sense"?. I saw the glass scene and oh my ! A grow woman like her you put her on the table like a baby as if it's the first time she breaks something ? Is the glass poison ? I don't even see a character like FL falling for ML, even less that quickly... anyway.
I guess we should be happy that atleast kinn acknowledged that he isn't a good boss....
But Pete not checking with Kinn BEFORE going to vacation is still weird, especially since he went undercover and he knew the risks. Even if he sends a message, you would still call and make sure they're really okay, like hear their voice and all. If Kinn believes that it would make him an even more stupid boss than forgetting Pete. Either way I don't think Kinn will win on this situation...
Honestly I am not here for the plot I couldn't care less for the first the second family, Kinnporsche couple...…
So far there was nothing with them so if you want to watch it for them, don't bother. Apparently next episode is more focused on them? Maybe you can watch it
I guess we should be happy that atleast kinn acknowledged that he isn't a good boss....
hahaha if it's not pete I think it would be even worse! It would mean he's not even in his mind AT ALL. Kinn doesn't know Kim was at P's house thought, only that he was at the warehoue and left before them. Kinn looked.. proud? like "that's typical of him"? Maybe he's been assigned to Porchay from the beginning ? Maybe Kinn knows he's been getting close to Porchay? Otherwise him not questionning his presence there is a bit weird but yeah it has to be adressed in the futur
I am seeing a lot of criticisms here and i just want to say that despite whatever error in storyline or plot,…
"It is easy to sit behind a keyboard and give reviews and find fault with every detail. All of a sudden people have become writers, producers, directors etc. "
No one is denying any of the effort behind the making of the show, but we still are allowed to no like how some things were filmed or written, or made. Every show is made with talented and hardworking people, but we can't always like it 100%, it doesn't negate the hard work behind the project. Criticism doesn't necessarily stems from hate. Critics are can be good even when they are bad for it can it allow growth.
I guess we should be happy that atleast kinn acknowledged that he isn't a good boss....
Not but like a whole scene with Pete being very serious about the danger he faces and Kinn being "worried" for him to just forget ??? What was the point of that scene? The thing is, that balcony scene with KP makes it look like some days passed, with Kinn saying "we've been busy but now it's less hectic", maybe 1 or 2. This would be even worse...
This is a BL drama with mafia theme, not a mafia drama with gay couples. I knew from ep 1 the plot isn't gonna…
I was not super convinced from episode 1 but there was still some content I could hold to when it came to the plot, though I ignored a lot of the holes. But the closer we are to the end, the less the story makes sense and even with my brain aside, 1 hour of not understanding the plot choices is still a lot T_T
yes, issues get resolved to quicky too be honest. Its getting really overused at this point. I am just as horni…
Yes! I just roll my eyes at every interractions they have now because it feels out of place, there is no more structure to their interractions. It's like "quiproquo, fights, fights, "you don't trust me", sex".. OK? Watching 1 hour of content that make me go "what?" then ohh sex scenes, no communications... I'm not that desperate lol
Honestly I am not here for the plot I couldn't care less for the first the second family, Kinnporsche couple...…
lmaoo are you enjoying the nothingness they gave you for the past 10 episodes ?? I've read that they were an item in the novel so I was puzzled with the way their interractions were going so far. I feel like if there is anything it would be next season if there is one.
Are every episodes just gonna be "kinn x porsche fight at first then happy ending" ? The whole you don't trust me then kiss me trope is overused at this point. I get that they wanted to make it more focused on the mafia side of the plot on this episode which is not bad because we love some plot, but it's just not credible? How did they let Tawan do his little scene then speak for 20 minutes, like ? Then the explosions from every side even though the bombs were only inside the warehouse ?? We don't even know how he survived Kinn in the first place and why they didn't shoot him on sight. "I have informations, don't kill me"... really? The crazy ex/double agent trope... well okay. This one might just be on me but Chay and Kim is not it for me, Chay looks like a teenager, it's juste too weird, especially considering the age gap for the actors, it makes it hard for me enjoy it. I like that Kim appeared just to save Chay and then left though haha, he looked really cool.
Vegas betraying the major family for so long without them knowing or acting on it if they knew? not credible imo. Especially using a guy like Tawan, like, seriously? he's your plan? It's a bit of a shame that the mafia trope is not credible to me because they definetly have the budget to make it look good, the scenary is very beautiful ! However, I feel like Vegas makes a better antagonist that Kinn makes a good protagonist if that makes sense?
Kinn's choices and actions don't scream mafia boss. He acts like a teenager a lot of the time and I watch him and I'm like "are you sure you're the boss that everyone wants to kill??". I already decided to forget that part in the first episode where he's being chased by 5 randoms and asked a random bartender to help him ??? How do you know he can fight ? Like I have trouble believing the Yakuza couln't take them out if they wanted. He makes a terrible boss. How do you have time to mess around with your boyfriend when you sent one of your men undercover and he did not come back? HOW do you forget about it ?? It just makes noooo sense ! Like yeah you can get distarcted, but as the head of this "crazy" mafia family ? not to this point, I'm sorry. Big died but hey apparently it doesn't matter because they have time for fart jokes now haha so mature.... I double whoever said it might be better as a novel, at least your imagination can fill in the holes I guess. They even try to fill some by saying things like "we were very busy lately" ok? You never are when we see you, but sure...
I think I was going with a lot of expectation with this one, maybe that's why I'm disappointed...
Ouuhh.... I was excited for HIY to be first lead but that's really not a role for him imo. His character is really annoying, and what even was that elevator scene ?? I agree that the hairstyle is not the best but honestly it's he whole character that's bothering me. His acting is also a bit off in some scenes. Another genre maybe could have been better for him I think. I don't see him being a good face for a noona romance, he looks very young already, it's even worse to put him next to a woman who's older.
FL's behavior has 0 consistency, I still can't figure her out, a lot of contradicting behaviour on her part. I think they wanted to go for the "girl boss" kind of character but she's not giving... She just looks and behave like a mean woman, tf is that attitude towards women who get raped "gneugneu suck it up, korean law don't protect us, move on and be better" the fuck??? She's not even likable lol
I'll watch EP3 to not judge too quickly but I think I'll drop it...
The writter really likes to end her dramas in a way that leaves you needy for more ! It's never about fan service with her, she gives us just enough to tell us a story and then when she delivered whatever she wanted to, goodbye! She did the same with My mister. She doesn't linger. You either like it or not.
I said it yesterday and will say it again, I didn't think I would grow to like Chang Hee's character so much but he really is a realistic character and honestly his ending is so satisfying. After everything he went through, after all the searching, all the hardship, the not knowing where life would take him, seeing him grow and mature and finally understand that he's made to always be where he is, that everything happens for a reason and seeing him embrace it and understand that he's where he's suppose to be... loved it!
Gu deciding to quit everything (even alcohol?) was the only way to end his story for me, to think Mi Jung did not have an enough impact that he would just stay in the miserable life he "built" would have anger me soooo much! As for our girl Mi Jung, can you believe she was able to learn so much about herself ? I can, because she was always so smart from the get go. She knew what she needed from Gu, she knew where her problem was and look at her now!
Ki Jung is the only one who didn't get the ending I wanted. Her boyfriend not drawing the line for three years, letting her get hate from both his daughter and his sister without ever doing something about it is just pitiful, she deserves better. Unfortunately, it's the story of a lot of women, I wanted her to leave him and not be one of them. Especially because of how her character was introduced. I would have never believed she would end up like that. I wanted her cutting her hair to mean something... I choose to believe she ends up with her boss later on haha !
I don't see what they could bring for a season 2. His sole advantage against CTS was his memories from his previous life (which btw made no sense because how does he even remember small details from a previous life after years in this new one? anyway). I think it's just an open ending like, brink down one evil, another one will show up or something like that.
The fall of CTS was not as great as I would have expected, the drama set the bar high at first and the ending was not as good. It was not bad, but not memorable either.
