I finished it a few days ago. Well, after it was revealed to the members "whose sibling was who", it didn't stop being "interesting" and managed to "capture" my attention. I was kinda surprised that Se Seung and Jeong Seob got together in the end: while in the beginning, they clicked well and felt like a "sure couple", just thinking about Jeong Seob giving Se Seung a present, going ahead with the episodes they had some "fights" and misunderstandings, because Jeong Seob wanted both to get along with the other partecipants. I think that the pretexts for this relationship weren't that stable and, as I searched online, they broke up not after long. Beyond them, I was kinda disappointed by Yong Woo's and Jae Hyung's behaviour: it seemed like they clicked well with their respective "partners", Cho A and Ju Yeon, but they started wavering in the very end... Boys will always be boys! I have to say, the ones who kept me going on with the show were Yoon Ha and Yun Jae! Overall, it was a pleasant watch!
I watched the first 2 episodes and I'm LOVING it! It's just so warm and gives me a "comfort" and "cozy" vibe because all the partecipants have one sibling, it just so feels like family! Everyone seems so interesting and funny. My favourite "could-be-couple" is Se Seung and Jeong Seob, while as for "siblings duo" I love Yong Woo and Ju Yeon!
Little rant session haha. Idk about you guys, but the waiting and anticipation has kinda fell flat a little haha.…
I had been waiting for "Love for You" because I love Zhang Jingyi's and Song Weilong's acting and I was eager to see them together. Even if the last two years blessed us with many dramas with almost-step-siblings-to-lovers plots (like "Speed and Love", that I dropped, and "Never ending summer", that I loved), it lacked for me of continuity. The first episodes were fine, but going ahead, with the 6-years-later episodes, they were repetitive and always running around Chen Yi's job. Loved the chemistry between the leads and the second couple (the police officer and the fiancèe), but that's a lacking drama... I hope "Overdo" won't disappoint us!
This post could be of help, I typed the title of the song you wrote about and it popped on my screen! Maybe in the comments you can find the platform on which it is published.
Why can't dramas end with the FL not going back to her time? A similar korean drama, "The first night with the duke" (2025) ended with the FL remaining in Joseon Era. I would've loved to see more of 2026 Zhou Cheng and Xiao Lan, with an appassionate kiss and children!
