I really hope Fox Spirit Matchmaker is good cuz I haven't really liked any of her dramas since Fuyao. Some have been okay, but that was the last one that I was so invested in that I binged. And I love Yang Mi. I've seen Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms so many times I've lost count. I think she just needs to choose better projects.

I really liked it. The last couple of episodes were a little too cliche for me, and not in the fun way that the show had delivered up until then. But the overall journey was so good and the ending had me crying so I give it a strong 8.

The way that people rate things hasn't evolved lmao, it's always been like that on MDL. The ratings were always inflated now they're just insanely inflated. It's entirely demographic. The age group has shifted and become far younger and there's way more of them here on MDL. I really believe it's because the pandemic came and tiktok blew up at the same time so we now have a shit ton of super young people creating multiple accounts to upvote their faves. It's why stuff like Hidden Love are rated fucking 9+ no matter how mediocre. Lovely Runner is really fun and I like it a lot, but 9.1 wild.
