Lin Yi's acting is always like this lol. He's been exactly the same since PYHOMS.

Zhou Ye's infinite charm is carrying this drama for me.

But you rate them one star when it's just your preference. I absolutely hate most older woman/younger man dramas cuz of the same thing but I either don't watch them or don't rate them. I know that just because I don't like something doesn't mean that it's an objectively bad drama.

I've seen a bunch of BJT's work and I always love him. I've only seen one movie of ZRN's (My Love) but it was great and she did a really good job. Personally I love this pairing. Finally a modern drama I'm excited for

Alleged leaked messages between him and an ex-trainee who is notorious for being involved with drugs and sexual relationships with celebs. She had scandals with TOP from Bigbang, BI from ikon and even YG himself. The messages between AHS and her weren't that damning, but having any kind of connection with her is BAD publicity.

The real problem is that they criminalize drugs and socially persecute those who don't conform to their strict standards of morality. Drug use is not a moral issue yet in Korea they treat it as one. There's a reason so many people commit suicide in Korea and societies similar to them. Conform or be ostracized and treated like a pariah. Don't pretend like you didn't know what I was saying because I didn't spell it out for you like you're five.

You are being purposefully daft. Obviously they redo some scenes. But an objectively bad, unskilled actor who cannot do their job well is not something the director is responsible for. The director can't add days and days of reshoots because an actor sucks. The director has to make do with what they get.

Um, no. The director doesn't choose the cast. And they only have a certain budget and a timeframe that a project has to follow. It's not like if there's a terrible actor in a show the director can just keep reshooting take after take until they improve. That's ridiculous.

And I'm not even criticizing the lead actress. I haven't watched this show yet and I've literally never seen her in anything before. I just think your logic is severely flawed.
