Standard BL series
Reviews show really high scores (titles read; remarkable, a masterpiece, life changing- -so I watched it...), I'm more critical. I found the show pretty standard, no surprises. I did a lot of fast forwarding through all the food and eating scenes-- there were a lot! I'm glad the directors moved past the trope of viewing girls as 'less than', but I was REALLY disappointed when ML said "I thought you said you didn't like boys" and the other one replied "Because it's you."The music should have been something more current for a younger audience, I didn't think orchestra matched the mood and sometimes it was louder than the dialog.
I watched it on WeTV

Typical
Like so many K-dramas, its better to stop at episode 4 or 5. In this series the cute-ness and comedy has worn off by then.The characters didnt develop and the story line drags. To stay interested I concentrated on the make-up and costumes- which always looked brand new (am I the only one that notices that? Also- its weird when you can tell the men are wearing lipstick)There wasnt a very big cast to populate the palace and a couple scenes looked like they were filmed at a public park. I had to remind myself that this was a period sit-com not an epic historical drama. This wasnt my cup of tea.

ONE example of why so many rated this low;
They announce their 'gay' relationship (fake) at school. Post it on facebook, feed each other in the cafeteria, and THEN in a later episode, all of a sudden its a BIG DEAL that everyone knows they're together?? Tee tells Mork they wont get past hugs & kisses (very little of those). Not long after, Mork gets really angry at Tee for buying condoms. Wasted too much of my time already.........
