Has anyone noticed the quote under the frame where they were taking pictures? "Love is how you stay alive, even…
Definitely, but I think it foreshadows her memory loss and not her death. She will be "gone", but the love of Hyunwoo and her family will keep her alive and they will fill up the candy jar again.
I wonder about Eunseong's fate. I don't see a scenario where he will ever give up on Haein, so that sort of suggests he'll have to die (or go to prison for a very long time). But he also seems shook up lately by the lengths his mother has gone to "for him", so maybe he might turn on her to help Haein? The ending for the villain was a bit underwhelming in My Love From the Star, where I think he just got arrested and then we didn't see any more of him. So I wonder how the writer will handle it this time around.
Have they? Because Hyunwoo has basically outsmarted Eunseong at every turn so far. Even gave him a well-deserved…
Yeah, the baddies basically facilitated most of the character growth for the Hong family which ultimately will leave them in a much better place in the end.
A drama needs conflict. You are meant to be concerned and frustrated along with the characters, that's part of…
Ending each episode on a cliffhanger is extremely common in television today, and has been for a while. It's shown that it makes people more likely to tune in next week. The ratings keep going up, so they must be doing something right with the endings. And the good guys are winning all the time here? Hyunwoo outsmarts Eunseong every time. Whenever they go toe to toe, he wins (or punches him in the face). Just as he's now setting him up to go to prison for how he's using the slush fund money. At this point Eunseong is just portrayed as pathetic and desperate, so I'm confused about why people think he is "winning".
Evil guys have been winning since episode 1!Fingers crossed for 14,15 and 16.
Have they? Because Hyunwoo has basically outsmarted Eunseong at every turn so far. Even gave him a well-deserved punch to the mouth for good measure. And I imagine he will do so until the end. Eunseong may have the money, but he walked right into a trap when he started using it.
I would have enjoyed this series a lot more if the episodes ended on something happy than something which was…
A drama needs conflict. You are meant to be concerned and frustrated along with the characters, that's part of the deal. Then there are moments of happiness along the way, just as in life. Especially the final stretch of episodes should feel like this; if there's no conflict or nerve, where you worry about what's going to happen and if the characters will make it out alright in the end, then the drama has failed. Too many seem to just want happy fluff and to never be frustrated.
And here comes ........ Amnesia !!!! Kdrama writers and their neverending obsession with memory loss
I mean her memory loss has been a part of this since the beginning basically. If you weren't here for it, you might as well have tuned out the minute her brain tumor was revealed.
well, she is blaming herself for blaming her daughter for her sons death... she is changed but still I too can't…
They had no choice really because Soocheol was adamant on taking her back even if the family did not approve. And the mom has always given Soocheol everything he wanted, so this really wasn't suprising at all. You can't call something bad writing just because you dislike a character.
Why is everybody complaining - Ep 13 is such a wonderful episode. We see growth in characters, generosity, love,…
A lot of people can't handle angst and melodrama. They want romcom fluff and a smooth viewing experience that isn't uncomfortable or with too much friction or uncertainty. Their loss.
lol I hated the first 8eps of this, and it seems like it just got worse.. like the amnesia lasts for 6+ eps? atleast…
Calling Park Jieun a bad writer is extremely funny. But thank you for announcing your decision of dropping the drama to all of us; if only you had, as you say, done it in peace instead.
I just saw a news article where there's a picture which depicts what looks like a gravestone marked with Hae In’s…
Seems likely it's either a) fake, b) related to the child they lost, or c) a hallucination/dream. Even if she did die she wouldn't be buried in Germany with a German gravestone.
The way they went from Hae-in saying "We should act like newlyweds then", Hyun-woo asking "How?" and her gesturing toward the bedroom, to them sleeping in bed together. Baby Baekhong is coming 🤣
Seems likely he will accept and that this has been in the works for a while. People involved in the project have followed him on IG since last year. I'm guessing this drama is why he declined the offer for I'm Against My Romance due to scheduling.
I'd be embarrassed if I were this director. Compromising your vision and trying to sell it as a good thing. If the work shouldn't be stoned, then they should be for happily throwing a struggling actor under the bus.
i wish they will address the miscarriage situation. i wonder what happened. seems like it became the catalyst…
Oh, it will play a huge part in the final episodes, I'm sure. They just showed us Haein seeing that Hyunwoo's door code was 1031 in episode 12, the writer definitely hasn't forgotten about it. It's also why I think it will end happily with them having a child. It just seems inevitable.
Ok,I am actually going to be this person...but it won't make sense to me if she somehow miraculously recovers…
Medical miracles happen in the real world every day. She is taking medication and injections. They've already said she can get treatment if her WBC goes up a bit more. Everything in the storytelling points to recovery. It also seems rather odd to say something won't make sense to you before you've actually seen it unfold on screen. Just wait and see how it plays out?
Writer: You'll get to cry in every episode
KSH: Where do I sign?
