The newlyweds prerelease from earlier in the week is totally giving incoming pregnancy vibes. I don't know how they will juggle that with Hae-in's condition though. It will help her WBC at least 😅
Oh yes, this drama is breaking records and trending everywhere because people are SO bored. People cry not because it's emotional, but because they're simply bored to tears. You're so right.
Unpopular Opinion: Park Sung Hoon doesn't look his best in this show. I don't like to criticize actor's appearance…
I can't say I ever thought he looks too skinny in this. Just thin, like most Korean actors. He was hotter in The Glory because of the mullet he had in that. I liked that. But he looks good here too.
Ohh the evolution because now there's global platforms... if Goblin was to be released today I think it would…
If anything the current climate makes it *more* impressive that Queen of Tears is bagging these ratings, when people could just watch it on Netflix after airing. It's so easily accessible, and yet people make time to watch it live. When Goblin aired, linear/live TV was much stronger.
Ok... so Queen of Tears is great so far, although my favorite on going drama is Lovely Runner there's just something…
The drama you mention is aimed at teens; QOT is a drama for grownups. It seems strange to compare a drama about adults going through a marriage crisis with a fluffy high school drama. Maybe you just prefer cute young romance to something more complex and emotional?
I think they already confirmed she pulled out of the play due to backlash. Probably not the wisest timing to try this so soon after she was seen as trying to stir shit for Kim Soo-hyun with that picture.
Whats this? I just read there is a disappointing finale and the stars who were going to film a "soother" can't…
Yes, nothing of what you say is accurate. Some people misunderstood a poor translation. The disappointment is about the drama ending, not that the ending itself story-wise is disappointing. Also the special episodes are a gift to fans because of the drama's popularity. Also there is nothing to suggest a sad ending; this writer usually has a happy ending to her dramas.
Praying that the global OTT is either Netflix or Viki.
I don’t mind either way, I’m just scared about another High Cookie situation where no global OTT materialized and we still don’t have proper English subs for it 😭
Just curious. What does everyone think of Wi Ha Joon and his acting capabilities? Good, bad or average?
Very versatile. Loved him in Little Women. His supporting role in 18 Again where he had an (unrequited) noona romance story makes me believe he will be perfect for this. I sort of hoped the FL would choose him instead of the old version of Lee Do-hyun's character 🤣
How is it plain? Just out of curiosity, I’m so sick of traveling back in time etc this one I’m so excited…
By “plain” they seem to mean authentic and true to life. Because that’s what Ahn Pan-seok dramas are like. No bells and whistles. And it’s what so many people love about his dramas. But if someone is unfamiliar with his style, I guess it could come across as less exciting than your glossy seaside slice of life dramas or fantasy fare.
