I am enjoying this as a guilty pleasure. It's like if Gossip Girl were a kdrama. Woo Do Hwan is great and I really like the female lead as well. I don't like SFL, but that seems very much by design. Lots of fun.
Why cant his father talk ? As his deafness is not congenital
It becomes difficult to talk when you're deaf, even if its not congenital, because you can't hear yourself. Especially if you don't speak for a long time. He may also choose not to, because of his trauma, or because his wife and son (Eun-ho) can't speak either.
How does the way people kiss in a drama affect you?
Bad acting obviously affects viewers; it prevents immersion in the drama. If it's supposed to be a romantic, joyous kiss and she looks dead inside, it will be jarring to watch.
This is now rumored to be a Monday-Tuesday drama that will be having its premiere on tvN in June/July. Originally, it seemed to be scheduled as a weekend drama, but now that seems to have changed.
I just hope Lee Do-hyun is nominated for best actor. He really deserves it after doing great work for years and this role was just excellent and showed his range.
I love dialogue-heavy shows. Action tends to bore me if there's too many sequences of fighting, especially if…
The director and cast have been clear about how this isn't a typical monster show, but a fusion of several genres. With the creature once having been human, and not just any human, the focus is really not on being a "monster show". If anything the creature is a manifestation, in a sense a metaphor, for the atrocities committed during this time. So I suppose those who wanted your typical fast-paced action monster show will feel a bit cheated.

Yes, and the Booker Prize is given to non-Booker books and Oscars are not exclusively given to men named Oscar. I just don't think they're good analogies.

The point is, why would a TV broadcaster give awards to dramas aired by their rivals? That's like Chelsea giving their Player of the Year award to Son Heung-min on Spurs.
Ahn Hye seop won award against Han seok kyu and Songkang won against Park hee soon ๐๐Also,oh Jung se didn't…
Oh Jung Se is avoiding the spotlight after his "scandal" a couple of months ago where he was a passenger in a car where the driver (his manager I think?) accidentally killed someone.
thereโs so much dialogue when instead there should be action. not to mention they all speak very very slowly.…
I love dialogue-heavy shows. Action tends to bore me if there's too many sequences of fighting, especially if it's chaotic. Then I just zone out. I also don't really see this as a "monster show", despite the presence of the titular creature. But it makes sense that action lovers find it slow.
on the edge of my seat for this one i've been waiting for wi hajoon to return to romcoms for YEARS
I recently saw 18 Again for the first time and he was perfect in that. Incidentally, most of his scenes there were also with an older woman (and they had great chemistry). Also can't wait!
This guy is my new obsession. Just finished watching The Worst of Evil, which made me watch Little Women. Now…
His supporting role in 18 Again is really nice. And that drama was good if you like that genre. His role in Bad & Crazy is more similar to TWE (action, fast-paced). New ML project in 2024.
