Do we know if it's going to be eligible for this year's awards? I don't know how many episodes have to have aired…
Oh I just found this: "At least four episodes of a series online or offline needed to have been available by March 31, or else one-third of the entire series." - So it's eligible! Last year nominations were announced on April 7.
Actress who plays aunt beom-ja deserves baeksang best supporting actress nomination
Do we know if it's going to be eligible for this year's awards? I don't know how many episodes have to have aired before the cutoff date (which is March 31 ie today/yesterday)?
Kim Ji-won really is breathtaking in this drama. I loved her in Fight For My Way and she was obviously great in My Liberation Notes, but this is a performance of a different magnitude, since it's such a BIG drama in every way. Kim Soo-hyun is obviously perfect too, but he's done this kind of scale before.
The OST in the teaser is beautiful. But hopefully the director has acquired more than two songs that play over and over again in every episode this time around. š
He was very busy last year so I'm glad he's taking a breather. Hoping for casting news soon though! EDIT: Omg, ask and you shall receive. He will reportedly lead a new drama, āBlack Salt Dragonā.
The end of episode 8 is ridiculous. It ruined the whole drama of the episode to me. I wish the writers would pick…
Writer Park Ji-eun is famous for very skillfully blending the two. It may not be for you, but judging on this drama's success and that of her past dramas, it seems to be a winning recipe.
Episode 10 fell to the lowest TV rating of the drama's run with 2.2%. I can't say I'm too surprised. I will finish this for the actors, despite the writing, and hope that it at least has a good final episode.
Every once in awhile netflix drops a sad drama with a sad ending like 2521. Even though in 2521 we saw the hints…
I don't find the dramas comparable. In 2521 it was clear all along they hadn't ended up together because of the frame narrative with the daugher. That was no surprise. But in this drama the whole point is them getting through a marriage crisis together. If she dies at the end, it'll all have been in vain. Besides, this writer usually delivers a happy ending. I think we will get it here too.
Real-time tv rating for episode 7 suggests a new Saturday record, but maybe not quite as high as last Sunday. But that does suggest the drama is on track for a new overall record at >14.1% tomorrow. š
He did the right thing staying quiet and not airing their dirty laundry in public. The others shouldāve kept the drama off Instagram as well. Netizens may be hating on him for being a ācowardā but for many of us, itās clear it was the best strategy. In that sense, the breakup is unsurprising. Their priorities didnāt align. Even now, HSH is posting memes online, broadcasting everything. Heās clearly a more private person.
