I thought I didn't need romance in this but the slight enemies to lovers and forced proximity tropes are working their magic on me in this one. Can't wait to see how this develops in Part 2 + Season 2.
Loving this so much. On episode 4, portioning it out so the wait for the final three episodes isn't too long. It fills me with joy to know that Season 2 is already filmed and will also be released sometime in 2024.
SBS are getting pushback from Korean media for changing the rules for how they will select the winner of "Best Couple" at tonight's awards. After Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung won the vote, they suddenly introduced a bunch of other criteria so that they can choose the winner they want. They speculate it's because Kang can't attend, so they'll give it to the Dr Romantic couple, since they're both attending. If so, it will be bittersweet for the winners, knowing that the viewers voted for another couple to win. Oh well! (Source: https://n.news.naver.com/entertain/article/108/0003205074)
Japanese people left curse words on Han Sohee's Instagram. The fact is that they are proving that Japanese people…
It's not surprising; unlike Germany, Japan never really took accountability after 1945 and the end of the war. They don't teach the monstrosities of the colonial period in their schools either.
Another tragedy after another witch hunt. My thoughts are with his family. I hope Yoo Ah In, one of my favorite actors, has good people around him, because it is not easy to be in the middle of something like this, as evidenced by this news.
I think there is zero resemblance with Mr Sunshine, other than the fact that both dramas take place in the early…
I also think there's zero resemblance with Sweet Home, other than the fact that both dramas have creatures; virtually everything else is really quite different.
Everyone's saying PSJ is a miscast and his acting is really bad in this show. Is this actually true or just exaggeration??
I have just seen the first episode, but he seems perfectly cast to me. The character is sort of cocky with a sense of humor even in tough times, which suits him very well. I feel like I hear these criticisms a lot lately with popular leading men in kdramas, and usually I don't agree with it.
Thoughts after finishing the first episode: - Really good cold open, hooked me right away - Refreshing to see so much color, very vibrant - I love the casting; great leads, supporting cast too - PSJ is perfect for this kind of cocky Gatsby-esque self-made man - HSH is perfect for this kind of skilled character who can put up a fight - The leads' fight was fun! Loved the slo-mo when Chae-ok lost her hat - Great with some humor; I hate when historical dramas get too self-serious So far I'm 100% on board and it's living up to my expectations. Can't wait to see more!
dont care but when are we going to delete the thousand burners who target and lower the rating of all 2023 shows?…
This site has always struggled with fake reviews. Look at any drama from previous years, and there are a bunch of fake reviews. I also don't understand why you bring up My Demon, which at 8.7 is far from the best rated 2023 release. Twinkling Watermelon has 9.2, Moving has 9.1, The Glory 2 and Hidden Love have 9,0, The Good Bad Mother and Death's Game have 8.9 etc.
