The bright point of the drama for me was Cha Woo Min. Whenever he was on screen I was happy. He breathed some life into an otherwise gloomy ensemble and was a much needed vitamin injection. I'm excited to see him in Study Group and Buried Hearts, and to see his career take off!

I get that adaptations can be tricky for fans of the source material. But when most of the complaints I see are trivial trifles about a character's hair not being parted right or someone using an iPhone instead of a battered old Samsung or there being a scene with guns instead of swords, it does make me laugh a little.

Definitely seems to be a ratings glitch. Doesn't make sense when "currently watching" is at 8.27.

I like how you described it. Like it just passed you by, as you watched it unfold, without feeling much or finding yourself drawn to it. That was exactly my experience, too.

I knew it wasn't going to be a romantic comedy, so I too craved the depth of a good melodrama and was left wanting more. Too much artifice, so I didn't connect emotionally with most of it.

I felt the same. It was okay, but forgettable. It felt overwritten, which made it lifeless to me.

This drama was a mixed bag for me and taught me once again not to have too high expectations based on casting or trailers. An attempt at slice of life, it did not have enough emotional impact for me to make the deliberate pacing worthwhile. It was enjoyable enough, but forgettable rather than memorable.

The drama had an element of artifice to it for me, from the production design to the character work (especially the main leads), which constantly kept me at arm's length as a viewer.

I like Choi Woo-shik a lot but in this his character felt static and frustrating for most of the drama. Park Bo-young is good as always, but she also mostly failed to move me in this. Things sort of just happen to them and they're barely reacting. Oh, this bad thing happened? Shrug. You'll figure it out. Not very involving to watch. Their entire enemies-to-lovers arc completely lacked energy to me and felt flat.

In fact, that was my main issue with this drama. It just felt bloodless. Well-produced, well-cast, well-lit, well-designed, but just devoid of any of that movie magic that makes you feel things. Just empty.

His debut on Disney+ will be his special appearance in Knock Off this year.

Well if they're longer people complain that they're "draggy" and "could've been 8/10/12 episodes" so there's no winning either way. But the director stated that this drama was made with several seasons in mind, so the first season didn't need to be longer than it was.

I hope my babies Sanghyeon and Woomin have a decent amount of screen time 🙏

For someone who's not familiar with the source material, I thought the teaser looked great.

The rating depends on where you live. It's rated 13+ for me.

How so? The only superficial commonality I can see is the gamer aspect. Love O2O doesn't have an office setting for the romance, nor does it seem to use the second chance romance trope or the enemies to lovers trope (in fact it's tagged with "instant attraction" which is the opposite trope). Also the ML is older than the FL in Love O2O but younger than her in MDN. And the ML is an athlete in Love O2O but definitely not in MDN. Where is the "heavy" inspiration exactly?

It's based on a webtoon, which is what it's heavily inspired by.

Finally she has picked her Queen of Tears follow-up! "Positively considering" = 99% certain.
