this actor “Choo Young Woo” is the one who pretends he didn't do BL, “You Make Me Dance”, it's like “I…
Enough with this nonsense. He very recently spoke highly of his debut in You Make Me Dance and how it helped him portray a gay character (again) in The Tale of Lady Ok.
i wonder what character Kim Jae Wook is playing.. he's too big of an actor to just be a side character but im…
Netflix often uses actors across several of their dramas. It's easier to get a "big" actor to take a supporting role, if the actor already has a main role in another of their dramas coming up.
If it were BL, this comment section would be full of people complaining about it not being “fluffy” enough and bemoaning the (very likely) open/bittersweet ending. But also just because I prefer realistic queer dramas to the wish fulfillment you typically get with BL.
Choi Hyun Wook ❎Park seo joon from what's wrong with Secretary kim ✅😂
CEOs can't exist without being compared to PSJ and his AURA. 🤣 (Ahn Hyo-seop got this comparison all the time for Business Proposal too) But CHW has been called "baby PSJ" for a long time because of his visual 🤗
Considering how much buzz this already has and how high the ratings will be when it comes out in 2026, I'm surprised some are asking "who wants this?" The answer is a whooole lot of people, including me.
One of the best kdramas ever, with one of the least satisfying endings. Perfect for revisiting.
Made my way through this in a breeze today and wow Choo Young-woo was just destined to blow up. One of the best debut performances I've seen. So finely modulated, hitting all the emotional beats.
I liked him in parasite, but I didn't think he would be so popular afterwards. If someone could recommend his…
He was popular before Parasite too for his roles in Train to Busan and The Witch. He used to do mostly movies so he doesn’t have many dramas where he’s the lead, but I really liked Our Beloved Summer and can’t wait to see him in Melo Movie on Friday.
They're unhinged and unfortunately won't see reason, even when proven wrong.
They deleted their post when I replied and told them that this silly "scandal" has made absolutely no noise and that all the latest news items about him on Naver are positive articles. Then they blocked me. 🤣
Is this already airing in the UK. I can't find it 😭
Maybe on Prime? It's available on different streaming services depending on where you live, but I don't know about the UK specifically. Hopefully Netflix will get global rights eventually.
It's the Joseon period, nobody's gonna shout from rooftops that they're a homosexual. If you can't understand euphemisms and subtext, then that's not really anyone else's problem than your own.
Yes, he did when he disclosed his secret that he can't embrace women and that he'd be killed if people found out. That's why she agreed to marry him. Not to mention how he started the Devoted Hearts Association to help children who were like him (their gender or sexual identity deviating from the social norm) like Hae-gang. He also came clean to his father about his secret when his father asked why he started the association. This was not especially ambiguous.

Here's also an interview that Choo Young-woo did where he talks about portraying an LGBT character in this drama:
