Look, i like that he is trying to break free from high school drama (like yes burn that sh!t) cause im tired of…
He's not the CEO though. He's the director of a specific branch only (Strategic Planning) and only got the job at his age because he's a nepo baby, son of the actual CEO of the store.
Him being childish but trying to hide that persona at work is literally the point. So the "cosplaying Park Seo-joon" is actually an astute observation and essentially what they're going for. He was also rejected by FL when they were kids in part because she found out he was younger than her.
Um that's a bit odd. I didn't feel like this needed a season 2 :(Oh well it's netflix after all, they never let…
I felt like it did need a Season 2. The first season suffered from having to minimize the FL role because of the actress's DUI which affected especially the end of the season, where she basically just disappeared. It's clear there was a lot of tinkering and cut scenes.
The male leads deserve another round with none of that mess.
She is already good, check her previous projects and you'll see :)
Yep. So many people clearly didn't understand her character at all. "She only had one expression" well did you pay attention to what happened to her, she was barely holding it together and trying not to fall apart. I thought it was a lovely understated performance, perfectly modulated for what the character was going through.
At least if not thinking about age wise, give the role for the more experienced actor like the character of that…
Clearly casting directors disagree with your opinion of his acting capabilities, considering this is Chae-min's third lead role at the age of 24.
I'm sure people like you said the same when Kim Soo-hyun was cast in Moon Embracing the Sun at 22-23 with just as little experience and also a difficult royal role. And he ended up winning the Baeksang for best actor for the role. You can't judge on age and experience.
this boy is 22. i dont think there's like some moral sin happening here but like...this is so weird? i laughed…
You're supposed to laugh, it's a comedy. Him being young and having a childish side is part of the character (and why FL rejected him when they were younger). Hope this helps.
well is not noona romance they are supposed to be the same age as in webtoon, actors have different ages but characters…
Not true. She was 3 years older than him in the webtoon, and that was part of why she rejected him when he first confessed after they met in the game.
In the webtoon, FL was born in 1986 and ML in 1989. So it makes perfect sense that the actors also have a similar age difference, with MGY being older than CHW.
On the contrary, it seems very likely that label mate (and co-founder) at Gold Medalist Kim Soo-hyun, advised…
Thatās not what I said. I said when the offer came to Lee Chae-min, it is likely that Kim Soo-hyun would have advised him to accept it. But of course, when an actor drops out last minute, itās not uncommon that they rely on their network, because they donāt have time to spend ages casting a replacement; they must act swiftly to avoid delay, because a delay would affect hundreds of workers who rely on a paycheck.
I have no issue with age gaps between actors, but for me yoon ah is grown woman all dramas i've seen her in has…
On the contrary, it seems very likely that label mate (and co-founder) at Gold Medalist Kim Soo-hyun, advised his junior Chae-min that he should do this drama, just as he himself did a noona drama with this director when he was the same age (to great success, as we all know).
Also you'll see Chae-min lead a college drama first (in April), so you get your wish, as he's not jumping to adult roles just yet. Besides, supposedly the king was in his 20s in the webtoon.
And sexist toward women. Why are some people throwing shade at Yoona over the age gap thing?
It's weird. They have no issue with the man being 10 years older (which happens all the time) but suddenly it's a problem when it's the guy who is younger.
lol....They don't match at all. She looks way too old with CHW. and his appearance also look like that of a school…
All of the things you point to are deliberate and part of the webtoon (him being younger than her and looking/acting more immature). Might just not be your cup of tea.
He'll be back for Squid Game 3 in June, and then hopefully he can book a new project to film this fall. He probably would have been able to do the drama he backed out of if the table read and start of filming wasn't so close in time to his mistake. There wasn't enough time for the public to forget about it. And we know knetz are ruthless. But this shouldn't derail his career, so hopefully he can get back on top.
How is Hyunwook so funny already in such a brief clip. I knew he would be perfect as this sweet, childish nepo baby who gets to be a boss just because his dad owns the department store. š
List of great actors in their 30s:Jung Hae In, Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, Na In Woo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Yoon Shi Yoon,…
Nah, they're gonna keep choosing Lee Chae Min and Choi Hyun Wook and Ryeoun and Moon Sang Min and all the other youngsters just so that you can feel personally aggrieved š¤£
