Normal for Netflix. Korean originals usually confirm their dates close to airing. The Trunk was announced on Oct 30 for a Nov 29 premiere. I'm guessing they want to focus on promoting Squid Game 2, and will announce date + teaser at the end of the year for a late Jan release.

Yes, production of Season 2 has been confirmed. But he'll be busy filming this until summer 2025, so the earliest filming could start would be second half of 2025.

LJH's Signal 2 will be 10 episodes, this will be 16 as usual, I think. It's a ratings juggernaut for SBS so there's no reason for them to want to order fewer episodes. Namu wiki also lists it as 16 episodes.
