I've watched a lot of BL's over the years and seen a lot of NC scenes... ep 8 NC scene will go down in BL history. I've never seen 2 actors commit as much and show as much of their bodies. Usually, NC scenes have quick shots of the bodies before the scene cuts and changes. We fully see all of them and all their nakedness. The acting felt real and intense. This scene truly felt like 2 people having sex. Hats off to the actors!

I have watched Pain so many times, and every time it makes me cry. It's 3 am and i'm ugly crying watching this. Even though it makes me bawl every time, it's such an amazing story that it makes it worth it.

I think it's supposed to show the desire both Lee Chae Ha and Ju Tae Seon have for each other and how they are…
Oh shit! I didn't even realize there was a novel and haven't read it, so I was just going off the drama alone 🤯

I liked this drama a lot. The ending fell very short for me. I truly believe that if the episodes had been longer, it would have benefited the drama. I love Shin Jae Min and Khun's storyline so much! I feel that Kim Hyeon Jae and Yun Su An were robbed of a well-written ending.

If we're being honest, that NC scene was not necessary. It didnt push the story forward, just merely told us what…
I think it's supposed to show the desire both Lee Chae Ha and Ju Tae Seon have for each other and how they are actively trying to suppress those feelings. Ju Tae Seon keeps denying that he has feelings for Lee Chae Ha because of his revenge plan, yet he waited for 3 hours concerned about Chae Ha's safety, only to find out he was on a date with another man, I can understand why Tae Seon felt those strong and conflicting emotions. Tae Seon felt so many emotions, all because he's trying to stick to his revenge and deny feeling anything while falling in love with Chae Ha. Then, for Chae Ha, finding out Tae Seon was waiting that long and was so concerned about his well-being naturally made Chae Ha feel emotional. Chae Ha, before they even met, thought highly of Tae Seon, but when they did meet, Tae Seon was immediately aggressive towards Chae Ha. In my opinion, I believe Chae Ha is slightly a masochist with how he lets Tae Seon treat him. Some people are naturally submissive, and I truly believe Chae Ha was attracted to Tae Seon early on because he somewhat idolized him, he's attractive, and the energy Tae Seon directed at Chae Ha was sexually magnetic. Chae Ha probably feels their relationship so far is purely sexual. Tae Seon being so concerned with Chae Ha's safety and jealous about the date would definitely make Chae Ha question if Tae Seon is having feelings that go beyond sexual. Anyway, these are my thoughts. Even though the NC scene might have felt unnecessary, in the real world, those random passionate hookups sometimes happen on a spur of the moment.

Watching the special episode felt bittersweet 😭 I'm happy with how we got to see all 5 couples, and I liked how it wrapped up. When it was ending, I literally said out loud, "The series is finally complete." I felt like I had been watching these shows forever, and it's because this series has been airing for 2 years! The series started back in 2024 and just finished in 2026! I realized I started this series back when I was living in Massachusetts, where I spent my whole life, and last year I moved to Tennessee. This drama ending brings up interesting feelings because this show was something I was watching at my old house, where I used to live. It's kind of like saying goodbye to an old friend from your hometown. Anyway, I'm just rambling because I haven't slept, but I needed to talk about these feelings 😅 I really loved the show and its characters and it definitely holds a special place in my heart ♥️🖤

I agree with everyone that the subtitles were terrible, and I do hope they fix that problem. I liked everything, but I will say that everyone felt stiff and awkward in this first episode. I'm sure the subtitles contributed to some of that, but everyone's acting was subpar for me in the first episode. It felt low budget when I know for sure it isn't. I did enjoy all the details of the omegaverse genre, I'm hoping it will improve as the show goes on!

This drama is definitely going on my top dramas of 2026, if not my favorite drama altogether! I love Cha Se Gye and Sin Seo Ri's relationship. Not only are they such a funny and chaotic couple, but I love how at their cores they are both quite similar in regards to their need to protect themselves by forcing themselves to live lonely lives. Not to mention, they are both ambitious, cunning, and resourceful. I recently discovered Heo Nam Jun in When the Stars Gossip, and even though he was a side character, my eyes were always drawn to him and captivated by his acting, especially his facial expressions! After watching this drama, he is now on my list of favorite K-drama actors! His acting is so rich with subtle gestures, facial expressions, and different tones of voice that he commands the scene. I hope this drama earns him awards and sets off a chain reaction of more acting offers! Im Ji Yeon has done such a beautiful job of bringing to life such a complex character like Sin Seo Ri. I love how Sin Seo Ri's character can be: subtle, fiery, funny, powerful, gentle, etc. Im Ji Yeon has really done a great job of portraying how a woman, in fact, a Queen, from the Joseon era would act in the modern age. The storyline has kept me very engaged from the beginning, and I haven't skipped even regarding the power struggle between Cha Se Gye and Choi Mun Do. This show has been so fun watching! Most of the time, it takes me longer to finish the episode because I've been rewinding so many scenes to rewatch again and again. Anyway, I love this show! :)))))

im happy nick didn't hug Boston... i mean, we as audience saw that boston has changed, but nick hasn't, why should…
For real! I hated Boston so much in Only Friends s1, so when I saw him here, I was SCREAMING, thinking how much shit he was going to cause. In the beginning, I was for sure thinking he was going to be causing chaos, but as the episodes have gone on, you can see his character growth. I still don't like him, but I can't deny that he's grown as a character. I do hope one day he finds someone he wants to love wholeheartedly and take care of.

How much of the novel did the show cover?
^^^I agree. The drama was pretty accurate to the novel with some changes. I'm happy that the story was done so well, but I just wanted a little more effort towards the end in terms of story/production.

I’m joking that if there were at least one more episode and it followed the novel, we’d get about 10 minutes…
I wanted just a taddddd more of those NC scenes....The one NC scene they had was done SO WELL and legit had me SCREAMING. Again Ngern/Oat and Maxky/Bas have the best on screen chemistries imo

Arthit/Daotok and Johan/North are definitely my favorite couples from this whole series. Although, I wish Arthit and Dao had more episodes. I feel the last couple episodes felt a tad rushed and I wish we had seen more romantic, sexy, cute moments from them. Thinking back, I think Maxky and Bas had more moments like that in their series due to their onscreen chemistry. In my opinion, Ngern and Oat's chemistry is on par with Maxky and Bas. They definitely could have given us those moments if they had more episodes. Also, the production definitely cut out some plot from the novel. However, all in all, I really loved Arthit and Dao's story! Again they are for sure my top couples along with Johan and North. I feel like out of all the stories Arthit/Daotok and Johan/North have the most rewatch value! Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the last story so we'll see if anything changes. Also, I really hope we see Ngern and Oat in other dramas together because like I said I think the actors have really good onscreen chemistry!

Hard decisions like he had to make is one of the reasons I would never want to be a commander. Those kind of decisions are necessary but it's never easy. It's going to hurt and be awful but at the end of the day it was necessary.

As someone who has read the manga, a movie is too short to accurately represent the manga, especially since the manga has yet to even finish. It's hard to translate this type of story into a movie due to the multiple competitions and extra moments in between. However, the main actors did a wonderful job bringing Sugiki and Suzuki to life! They really embody each character's personality, looks, and even dance style perfectly. I really hope a sequel comes out to continue the story or wrap it up, because as I said, there's so much material that was either left out or is there to be used for another movie. I still enjoyed watching it though! I especially loved the train scene because it was different from the manga in terms of being way more romantic and unique. I also loved the ending scene with them dancing together. I was smiling and giggling the whole time. The one thing I will say about the effects is that the lighting was very dark, and I hope they fix that in a sequel.

This is one of Park Shin Hye's best roles yet. While this drama was not groundbreaking or a 10/10 for me, I was impressed by Park's acting. Compared to her previous acting roles, she did an excellent job. In my opinion, she should take more roles similar to this character.
