I feel like more cdramas should learn from starry love, we’re so tired of the same ole betrayal, jealously,…
They did that so well, I love how if there was problem, it gets resolved in an episode. Like when YQ lose his memories, or when CF finally reveal the truth, could have drag those issues out, but nope, within one episode, it was resolved.
Just finished it and I loved it all the way through!!! The comedy, the romance, the drama/angst, and the themes…
I feel like more cdramas should learn from starry love, we’re so tired of the same ole betrayal, jealously, and toxic relationship. I think that’s why so many love this drama. It’s just so refreshing and so different to watch for once. Love it!
I like reading everyone comments even after the drama had ended. It really help curb the withdrawals. You guys…
So beautifully analyzed and 100 percent agree! The relationship between these characters are so well developed and I love all of them so much. Each character had their strengths and weaknesses but ultimately they grow to become better. It’s truly a very rare finding in drama land 🥺
I’m glad you brought up about YT and CF bonding too. My understanding from the novel is that they also have a good bond and respect for each other, I know the drama don’t touch on it too much but with what we were given, you can tell that they both start to respect each other. I remember in the second to last episode, after YT finally was able to let go and be happy, she went to the void realm to check in on CF, and was happy to hear that he was eating again, and reminded him to take care of him self. Even that small gesture and interaction, you can tell they have came a long way and care about each other and are a family no matter what. That small scene between them two really touched me too 🥺
Their relationship is definitely adorable. In the beginning, the Emperor seemed to be more comfortable with Chao…
I also think the brother in law relationship is so unique, and I rarely experienced that in c dramas. Like they were enemies in the beginning, fell in the love with their women who happen to have a very strong sister bond, so they don’t have a choice now but to be mutual with each other. And then through unfortunate circumstances they all have to come together and learn to live with each other, and even thou they bicker a lot, their ultimate goal is to protect the wifes. You can see they start to slowly develop respect for each other although they like to bicker. And also they both had to go though traumatic events of losing their wive too.
You probably would have said that better lol. Hopefully what I was trying to say make sense. lol. Basically I really like the brother in law’s relationship too ☺️
I loved that. They both love him and he loves them back. I also think their relationship with him keeps them close…
Yes! I think maybe that’s why I also love this drama so much, is the relationship and bond of friendships, family and lovers. It stay true to it til the end.
