I just have to mention this the detective could have checked on Wei Lai on snd off mote rather than on Chen Wian. It was a suicide case and there is a fact of her being a bully. So weird how he is going back to the girl when the murder case is solved. He didn't even tried much with Wei Lai's case mainly due to her good background and her being minor. Lol. The senior detective was right how come he is now dragging on one good student. Even if its for justice, more or like he should feel ashamed of the former case. I mean we have seen detective dramas where the detectives knows what went on since the law is so rigid and crooked its better to weigh the goodness out of evil. There is a need of necessary evil. It could have been potrayed in that way. Just sharing an opoinion
This is an average plot drama of revenge. The romance is very slow and bland. But what stood for me is the main characters of the drama. Their personality have shone through and through. The ost are good too. Well I watched this drama for the ratings. So yeah i had an expectations which eventually got lessened. But hey you might enjoy it! unfortunately this drama is not for me.
It has kuzu no honkai story-lines. Doesn't have the happy ending it needs. Still it was a okay ride for me. The wild and hilarious imagination of that the characters have now and then is very hysteric. and the kiss scenes are good too. But the plot wasn't so impactful. But I watched it for the cast actors. Give it a shot.
This movie is definitely not for fast paced or happy ending movie lovers. But if you want a different plot, you can give it a shot My piece of advice don't read the synopsis. Because if you do it will give away half of the spoilers. That's it. Enjoy !
Guys I don't comment unless I've watched the whole series. But this is surely an exception. I have to say hands down to the unique plot where the lead is a single mother battling against the social taboos of Asian ethical norms. I've to say people here in Asia harsh to the divorced mothers let alone an unwed mothers. So the realistic perspective is appreciable. This is so relating that you can't help yourself but to defend her. (I LOOK SO DAMN SERIOUS THAT MY SISTER WONDERS WHAT JUST AM I WATCHING !) Besides both the leads are nice in nature and is a bit dimwit when it comes to play by the rules of the society. I have to say if you are bored to see chaebol rom-com, this will surely give you a different taste of life. This drama blends rom-com until Thriller knocks the door. A good watch for thriller genre too. And about the cast , the actors are one of my favs. To see Hae Neul and Hyo Jin together is just a cheese on top.( Not a fan of cherry! >_< ) SO STOP HESITATING AND BINGE IN! ENJOY!
The summary of the drama I love you because you are so cute and so good which is the perfect combination for my bitter personality. PS I didn't saw any bitter personality of Fukami San. That's how corny the drama is! Just watch it for the constant cringe. :')
Ok first of all this is an adapted drama from webtoon. which had seriously no influence to my decision to watch it. Besides I didn't even know it was based on a webtoon series. So didn't care. But if you;re familiar with the webtoon series then you already know the basic plot twist and won't be concerned about the Erie atmosphere that the drama carries on. So if you are hesitating Don't, this has been a really good ride for me as I am a freak for thrillers. Secondly it's gory and dark as hell. and no relief for normal comedy cliches which is toatlly my taste of K-dramas. Thirdly, the character development of the protagonist is just fascinating. And you don't have to bang your head to know the antagonist of the character. So storyline keeps you on the edges of what the will do next what is his frigging plan. Fourthly this is a short ride 10 episodes unlike others dramas. NO waste of time watching prosecutors -police badgering or loud police officers as we keep on seeing in every Thriller crime based K-dramas. and Fifthly, you get to see Lee Dong Wook in a different approach which i definitely loved it. <3 My only complain is it ends. TT
What's different about 'Watcher' than the other thriller crime based dramas is that it is raw as realistic and has no supernatural or superhuman qualities like in STRANGER, HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC etc and especially nothing to do with time travel like in SIGNAL , TUNNEL and others. So all you get is some intense fight scene, traumatic tortures and constantly suspecting WHO THE BAD GUY IS. The last thing you keep in mind is who is watching whom and for what purpose is all WATCHER's about. FUN FACTS: The team doesn't go out for lunch or drinking soju rather they have beer or healthy herbal drink i guess. They only drink is what you watch even water was so important here that the team leader requested for a water purifier. Yup shits serious.I mean seriously in K-Dramas there's got to be scenes of having Ramyeon, kimchi or something else. That's how serious WATHER is! ^^
Ok now this is going to be another speculating theory. I don't know why for some reason I think Sung deliberately showed that he didn't cared for Ji Soo. Reasons - 1) His father keeps on following him which Sung knew very well. And thus showing him, he is distant with her. This eventually made his father sure that he cares more about Jae In making him abduct her later on. And as planned Seung then gave hints to Lee An on her possible whereabouts. 2) JI Soo's father has accepted bribe for her medical treatment for which her father didn't investigate the case thoroughly. 3)JI Soo keeps on badgering him for revealing himself more which he allows her to do so as no one notices or even cares what he thinks or feels only her. Hence on the elevator he said about the identity of Jae In's father. And confessed to her he cherishes her. 4)He pushed her away because he is not the person Ji Soo thinks. Yup had no intention to hurt her. 5) Lastly Ji Soo was never part of his plan for his ultimate vengeance. So wanted her out of it which eventually failed. So with this theory in mind I am glad she died otherwise she wouldn't take it well enough. Besides her death was the triggering point of his alexithymia. realized how he really cared for her regretting that the promise she asked for was already too late for him and so later on he changed his plan again into an eye for en eye revenge.(The scene that he removed the pictures of his plan from the mirror of the hotel he was hiding out. and throwing away his pills and then rushing out of the hotel.) I also liked the fact that sung didn't commit suicide and is serving under the sentence of his crimes. I have seen in dramas like Remember, Voice etc that the criminal dies before thye completion of their sentences. it didn't happened here at last. to me as i am a THRILLER freak the ending was realistic for me and the cases kept me hanging for more. A great watch. Here my rattling ends.
This movie was alright too me. I didn't had a hysterical laugh but it was ok to watch.
That's it. Enjoy !
