Bo Young has just so many excuses for her shitty personality it's almost funny. I just can't believe that after all that, she went on blaming Hae Won because she believes she liked Hae Won more than Hae Won liked her.

I guess we just have different impressions of the drama, that's why it seems we both saw different dramas, because I clearly remember him being overbearing and self-centered. I personally feel like he just came across as good to people because they perceived the 1ML as worse.
apart from that, we can just generally disagree on liking characters, because just as I have my reasons for disliking him as well, you have yours for the opposite.

IMO the best SLM is the guy in She Was Pretty and the one in Reply 1994.

honestly, it's too long ago for me to bring up any examples. I'm glad I forgot most of it anyway.
However, I hardly remember him being not overbearing towards her. In my memory he mostly forced his presence on her, and almost most of the times he got aggressive was just too much and the way he just excused his sister's behaviour too.
when I think of him, I remember thinking that I would be scared of him in her place because he was so angry all the time.
I thought that 2ML threatened ppl with his fists, while 1ML threatened them with his words/manipulation

he had extreme temper tantrums, was very violent and he also didn't care for her boundaries. I remember him as very loud and aggressive.
Tho I used to like the ML, I came to realize that both male leads are very toxic

I really like our ML. he didn't like her at first because their first encounter was bad, but he couldn't help to get curious about her and then he fell for her so naturally. but there was never a moment where he was confused or in denial, he just embraced his feelings for her and started to court her immediately. He's been doing bf things ever since

actually this was super entertaining, it's just the characters you'll end up being emotionally invested the most, don't have the ending you wish for.

this drama was the first time I experienced SLS and to this day it remains to be it's worst case. I just can't get over Chilbongyi
