social distancing made me give the 2nd ep a chance, but I just cannot get through. things are moving super fast and at the same times nothing worth mentioning is happening. Tossakan hits on Bar in telling everybody and their mother that yes, he is hitting on Bar, Bar doesn't like it but it's not like he doesn't like it (?), acting and script are both very mediocre.
I feel like the trailer alone shows that Lin Yi's acting got better??? Not that he was any bad in PYHOMS, I loved him there but I dunno ... maybe it's because he seems so confident. Can't wait for this.
the tags say healing but I already know I am gonna be stressed out. I already need her to end up with Seo Jin (unless ofc he is the worst character possible)
The development is so unnatural, it is super cringy. There is no time left to actually understand the characters and get to know them... The whole first ep I was just like: ??? Uff, and the pacing and directing???? yikes.
If the plot twist itself wasn't already bad enough, his reaction to her finding out the truth was absolutely scary. He confined her at his house. He would not let her leave him. Honestly, I am just .... I don't have any words left.
Oh my god, okay thank you. I was absolutely terrified by Ling Yi Zhou's character in S1. He was honestly, a psycho.…
I know how you feel. I was enjoying S1 so much and when everything got revealed I was just so shocked that I took a break from it for 3 weeks until I convinced myself to finish it. It really turned into horror genre and I could not enjoy it anymore.

In one of the earlier eps we see Yi Zhou having a phone call, cancelling the fake medical report and honestly I was shocked that he still had the same dumb idea - but I guess they did that to make sure to show this is some kind of alternate universe. Therefore, there is no medical report, no fake surgery, no confinement in their house when she finds out. However he does "mildly" (> compared to what he did in S1) stalk her and ultimately trick her into an engagement. It is though, hinted at that he knows her already so it's not a surprise and you can get emotionally ready. He is also much sweeter in this season and you see him being absolutely whipped by her what makes it easier to forgive him. The whole thing feels more like a slightly too extreme crush. I am really enjoying this season and I hope this answers all, but doesn't take too much away.
