Hands down my favourite Thai BL EVER so far. I struggled with issues of colorism, bullying, non con, rape in some…
Me too ! I think it's going to be my favorite Thai BL ! So sad it's ending soon (well in 4 weeks)...I even want a season 2....or another series made by the same team...with the same main actors lol
It's interesting how some series they lack time, this one seems to have too much time. It would benefit a lot…
It's because on WeTV it's the uncut version. I guess that for the TV version, the flow might be faster since the episodes are shorter. But I don't mind slow pace in this series. For sure some scenes may seem a little too long, but it gives me some kind of contemplative feeling ? The series has its charm because of that, I think. I find it quite comforting and appeasing in a way lol
The teaser worries me since I got spoilers from the novel. I was kinda hoping the series would change the outcome…
Well let's wait. But since this is based on a BL novel, I guess some scenes are inevitable. But at least if it does happen I'll take this as a plot device lol After all it's a fiction so...
To be frank, I'm more surprised by people who don't believe that you can "forget" or not immediately recognize…
Well, different people too. We react differently and people have different kind of memories too. But of course I understand your point of view. But since I'm bad at remembering people, I understand more Gene lol
I am enjoying this series because it goes beyond the standard high school/university tropes. However it isn't…
To be frank, I'm more surprised by people who don't believe that you can "forget" or not immediately recognize your childhood friend. It is already difficult to remember exactly what a person looks like when you do a testimony just some days ago (you'll see how testimonies can be different from one person to another)...Some people can have the same surname, change a lot by growing up, etc. So it seems pretty convincing for me (I find some other things perhaps less convincing but not that, and I take those less convincing things as plot devices of the drama land lol so I'm not that bothered). I'm not even sure I could recognize now a childhood friend I happen to lose contact with.
Wait,I just went thru the comment section and do I watch this or not?
Really don't trust comments for any show. Make up your own mind. If the story seems interesting, I'll still watch the series despite the rating or the comments ! Sometimes I end up not liking series which are very praised, other times liking series people don't like...
Some people are just showing their insecurities at this point ngl. Every bad comments I read about this drama…
Unfortunately, you have those kind of peoples everywhere...and they are not the minority...I'm watching another series and the MDL comment section was some time ago really really negative and nitpicking everything...The funny thing is that they didn't even pay much attention to the story and dialogue...so they are criticizing things which have already been addressed in this series =_=
From other comments I guess its only me who found this drama abit boring with acting problem here and there
lol You're kidding right ? Considering the number of criticism this series has received (since the beginning), no you're not the only one. I'd even say it is quite common here....People like to treat this series as a punching ball....
it is not easy to self-publish even if you are not poor. So you still need a publisher. I still think he needs…
Oh you write poetry , that's great ! Have you tried writing novels too ?
Also concerning what you say, well I'm not sure. But I don't think it is easy to self-publish. You'll be responsible for everything, even pay someone to make your own marketing, do the editing yourself, design your cover etc. Also with self-publishing, you're not so "free", but more likely dependent on the platform where you self-publish (like Amazon...). You have to pay for everything and have a lot of time to do everything around the book (and not only writing). It can be very stressful I guess. That's why some publishers are even interested when you self-publish....They spent less money on you....I don't know how it is in Thailand, but I don't think it is that easy here too. Otherwise, we'll already know if self publishing was the easy way to make a living. But anyways, being a writer is already difficult so...usually you can't live only from that unfortunately.
things i really want to know in the coming episodes:will gene actually publish the....... autobiography he is…
it is not easy to self-publish even if you are not poor. So you still need a publisher. I still think he needs to make a living. His family may be well-off but he needs to do something with his life and be self-sufficient, "free" from his family (I'm looking especially at his father...). He uses to write fantasy novels and he just happens to write one BL novel which gives him fame. Sometimes, when you have fame with something you didn't expect, you can be caught by the success, I guess ? He's trapped. Also a writer wants to be read. So his ambition may not be completely towards money (but he still needs it I think) but to be read and known ? His BL novel gives him an audience, so it might be interesting for his next novels. I think it's more the dilemna of success and fame rather than money (even if it's still important). Also, he has a contract with his publisher, etc. So I don't think it is that easy.
For the memory thing, I understand Gene because I'm the same lol I have very bad memory...So yes, it seems plausible to me he can forget Tum. He seems also like someone who's in his little world, hardly noticing people around him.
But those thought are just what I suppose. I'm not sure.
I'm at ep.22 and it's still very entertaining and interesting ! I don't want to watch too quickly....since everything is not released on youtube...I really love the complexity of the characters and the fact they are not "heroes". The fight scene in ep 22 was really really great !
PS : It's just a series...nothing serious...

WoH is not light but it is very entertaining, with action, plot, etc.

Cliche but nice to watch. However the second season doesn't really interest me. Maybe later.
Not for free now but I guess if you google it lol.
And not BL : Iljimae is also very entertaining (it's a little old lol). I've seen people not liking it because it is too slow, etc. But I really enjoy it. It was fun with a lot of action.
