Not having to deal with 25-30 episodes of a clueless FL attempting to hang on to a husband, life, or family of…
Aha! I know who this is. Got a new account, Milica? 👀
But yes, I do wish more FLs were written like this or as villains... they're easier to root for. Jae-In's transformation in QH was actually worth it, too.
There's romance for the good 2nd FL, the main FL (a villain) is more complicated. Overall I don't think romance is the main plot point in this daily drama. It's more a melo/thriller/business & revenge makjang.
Great comments. I gave this an 8.5 so we're in the same boat I found it funny how I had put this drama on the…
I actually did drop this for AWWSTS. But ironically, I ignored THAT one when QH picked back up 😂
I agree with the Park Yoon-jae part, dude needs to play more villains.
Regarding the 2nd FL: um... wasn't Seol-Ah the 2FL in SWR? Jung-In was the FL & a villain. I loved Jacqueline lol but yes, I'm glad we had an inherently evil 2FL. At the same time, I want (and love) more complex female characters in k-dramas. Which is why I tend to gravitate towards grey/villain FLs rather than the typical, boring good ones.
Very strong daily, very enjoyable, very dramatic, and very FUN to watch!
It's going to be fun to see if he stays even keel like he is now or turns to his dark side and gets possessive…
I wonder if the FL will become darker too (I'm already betting that she will, according to a recap she basically manipulated Chairwoman Gong into making her stay as the fake Young-Chae.)
In The Promise, the FL ended up with the 2nd ML (Hwi-Kyung, I think?), same with Temptation of Wife (Min Gun-Woo, couldn't stand him.) Both MLs there were evil.
OR in some cases the ML becomes 2nd ML or vice versa. But yes, Ha-Neul is the ML.
The 2nd ML is Jin Se-Hun, the ML is the "brother".
I feel like they gave the 2nd ML much more screen time than Ha-Neul, but I could be wrong. I feel like his unrequited love thing is somewhat annoying and (quite) boring.
