Jae-In is like a puppet to her mother (Choi Ja-Young), so Jae-In might turn evil because of Ja-Young's influence... and either break away from her, or become an even BIGGER villain.
Nice! I loved Band of Sisters, it was funny, sweet, and suspenseful all at the same time! "Happy Sisters" isn't my thing either lol but I recommend The Penthouse series. 3 seasons, stellar actors. It's NOT a makjang but it's definitely wild. It's hard to find "The Tale of Janghwa and Hongryeon"... I've only seen a few clips on Youtube.
Crazy Love has subs. Cheondamdong Scandal, no. But you'll like Secrets and Lies with its villain FL!
Check out "Band of Sisters"- I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did.
I'll watch Hierarchy, and I also plan to watch Sponsor. A Pledge to God doesn't seem like my thing even though I like melodramas.
Oh yes! I wanna find lighter dramas to watch lol but I'm currently watching Teresa! Also pretty good (with a villain protagonist.)
The acting was good in VOTB, mostly. And the FL was grey and actually GOT revenge. You'd love A Secret House! A Place in the Sun has Oh Chang-Seok and Yoon So-Yi. Two actors I enjoy!
Hmm. Yellow Boots (Ice Adonis), Secrets and Lies, Miss Monte-Cristo, Flames of Desire, Queen of Ambition (both aren't dailies), Temptation of Wife (FL turns dark for revenge), Temptation of an Angel (male protagonist, weekly drama with a villain FL), The Promise/Heaven's Promise, and Wife Returns would be perfect for you. Queen of Ambition deals with politics too. Miss Monte-Cristo's FL turns dark towards the end of the drama and is quite grey. Secrets and Lies has a villain protagonist (I'm rewatching it and it's quite enjoyable), Temptation of Wife is a classic (the revenge takes some time to start, but it starts GOING and is ruthless.) Yellow Boots deals with stepsisters, Wife Returns and The Promise have twins as the main plot. Red Shoes has an older protagonist, Min Hee-Kyung (Choi Myung-Gil), as the villain protagonist.
A Bird That Doesn't Sing also has a villain protagonist, It was on tvN too. And Woman of Dignity (mystery, on jtbc.)
I absolutely love Moon Jung-In. One of my favorite villain protagonists in a daily drama (in the past 2-3 years.)
All cancelled. The latter two had low ratings, while Phoenix 2020 on SBS tanked its reputation with dailies. MBC weekend long dramas were abolished a few years ago by the network itself, I think.
