Sheesh, I FELT like I was in a makjang! The first time it happened a few years ago, my mom told me and my sisters (excluding the BIL's wife) to keep it a secret. Then it happened again. Both BIL and little sister were in the wrong tbh.

I doubt it... NO ONE is on her side. I think she'll do most of the heavy lifting. Her character has to completely change before she gets revenge, and I feel like the writers are heading towards a dark/evil Jae-In? (Kinda like Wife Returns...)

It blew up last year as you'd expect. Like, BLEW UP. The family found out, my sister and BIL got divorced, nephews stayed with us, we found out MORE stuff (not disclosed), and she apparently did voodoo on our family? Whatever, but yeah. It was a crazy time.

Everyone should have a chance to redeem themselves. Unpopular but that's what I think. It's possible that her son could die, and because of that, she decides to change (VERY unlikely.)

Yeah, if SR gets committed, she'd probably break out. So either she goes to prison for life, or dies somehow. (I feel like this show's ending will be VERY dark.)

Neither of you are making ANY attempts to understand why JI is the way she is. I'm not saying you have to like her or agree with her actions, just... apply logic somehow??? Unless you wanna be like Jae-In lol

These things don't happen to basic adults??? Lol if it's happened to you, I have a lot of questions. It certainly hasn't happened to me. (Though my little sister DID sleep with my brother-in-law... crazy.)

Maybe SR will try to kill JI (like she mentioned in episode 25?), and Ji will fake her death?

But not all k-dramas need a happy ending! Sometimes it feels unearned or unrealistic. A drama I WON'T recommend Autumn Tale... please don't watch it 😭 the ending WILL break your heart! It was one of the first few dramas that made me cry.

Still doesn't mean EVERYTHING is her fault. That's a reach and we both know it. 😭 The people we should have the most energy towards are the villains (GC, Mi-Ran the betraying aunt, SR, the Hwangs... everyone except the doctor's family.

They wouldn't kill the protagonist in the first 30 episodes! Unless there's a twin, like Wife Returns. Then the new protagonist takes over and starts raising hell on the villains.

Because it's just a show. I don't even think you genuinely enjoy it. I wouldn't watch something that I don't enjoy.

I do think she's dumb because she's SUPPOSED to be this way when the drama starts. Then she gets up and fights back. If you don't hate her, why blame her for everything and accuse of her child's (the child she GAVE BIRTH TO) death. Like, yikes...

I'm not forcing my thoughts on you at all. I just think your perspective on JI is making the show hard for you. There's so many complex and dark characters. I recommend taking a break if it upsets you so much.

Then drop the show if you hate her so much. Easy. If she's so stupid and you hate her so much, why are you still watching? I mean, she's the protagonist, nothing's changing that and her revenge will be useless.

Clearly everything in the world that happens to her is her fault. Why are you watching someone who apparently causes their own misery? What's the thought process behind that?
