Exactly! Yeah, it's fine to dislike it, but there's been MUCH worse dramas (The Two Sh*tsers, Secret Woman, Everybody Say Kungdari- which I'll NEVER watch, etc...) Daily dramas are kinda supposed to be mindless watches. They're over-the-top, low-budget (usually, some are better), and repetitive. Made for housewives in the evening.

Also there's plenty of non-dailies to watch, too.

True, people are trashing it badly but this is one of the better dailies from KBS2 in the past few years.

To be a bit fair, Se-Young was basically her mom's puppet. I've seen WAY worse 2nd FLs in dramas.

Miss Monte-Cristo (smart FL) and Vengeance of the Bride (strong/smart FL, good chemistry with the ML too) are good picks. The Promise too, and Yellow Boots/Ice Adonis. The Witch's Game (Seol Yu-Kyung is the FL, idc.) And Wife Returns, there's a complete change/twist around episode 30-ish, but I can't spoil it! Also this one has no subs.
Other dailies I recommend are Thorn Flower, Secrets and Lies (villain FL), A Bird That Doesn't Sing (villain FL), Miss Mermaid (Jang Seo-Hee's breakout role), Cheondamdong Scandal, and Meant To Be (ESPECIALLY at the halfway mark.)

For non-dailies with great FLs, here are my picks: Penthouse (3 FLs! And they're all amazing!), Five Fingers (villain FL), Queen of Ambition (villain FL. COMPLETE villain, she's sympathetic though), The World of the Married, Lie After Lie, Temptation of an Angel (male version of Temptation of Wife with another villain FL, I recommend this too), Eve, Woman of Dignity, Golden Empire, Women of the Sun, and Miss Ripley. Also, Perfect Marriage Revenge, Sky Castle, Avengers Social Club (a bit more comedic, but still good), Bread, Love, and Dreams/Baker King, Kim Tak-Goo, and Secret Mother.

For novelas I'm watching Teresa, it's Mexican I think, but really good.

Mysterious Personal Shopper is GOOD! That's a real thriller daily drama right there.

I hated Fatal Promise since it was so complicated. But the FL is active in her revenge, so I'll try to rewatch some of that too.

I also recommend Vengeance of the Bride and Wife Returns. Five Fingers as well, it's not a daily but has a villain FL played by Chae Shi-Ra. Same with Flames of Desire, Yoon Na-Young (Shin Eun-Kyung, one of my absolute FAVORITE actresses) is the villain protagonist. Also Seo-Woo does an amazing job here.

A Place In The Sun and A Bird That Doesn't Sing (villain FL played by Oh Hyun-Kyung, it's kinda like Snow White's Revenge but WAY, WAYYY BETTER) are pretty good too.

Pink Lipstick is also a good one. Old but good. Also, Red Shoes and Two Mothers/Cuckoo Nest.

I'm sorry... but I hated the FL's acting in Gold Mask. I tried to rewatch it but I couldn't. She is much better in Happiness Battle! (Another mystery-drama I liked.)

As for dramas to NOT watch: Woman In A Veil/Secret Woman, Escape of the Seven (either season), and Phoenix 2020. Also Princess Aurora.

If SBS still made dailies, I would've skipped this one, but alas. I'm stuck here. 😂

Most daily dramas are about revenge or are a family drama. This is just what the people want, sadly! But there are shorter revenge dramas.

It's genuinely awful, and I usually (mostly) enjoy dailies.
