what a trash show lmao i'm surprised i sat through all of it. tried so hard to be penthouse but penthouse was…
This reminds me much more of the dramas Sponsor, Artificial City, and The World of the Married than Penthouse, tbh. The drama Mine, too. Especially with the lesbian FL. Penthouse is entirely different lol
Jung-won sacrificing her life to save Sang-ah...that's called love. It's also, I'm sorry for what I did to you.…
So I guess it was a form of regret & repentance, in the form of a sacrifice... very tragic. I think that Jung-Won genuinely loved Sang-Ah to an extent.
As for that last part- I truly hope you're right. Because... 😬 she's a bad villain.
For real after Jung-Won dead the only character I feel that watchable is Sang Ah, she has her part of wrong doings…
Me too. She is indeed a victim. I feel like she's been suffering the most... I can't wait to see how she'll ultimately fight back somehow! With Jung-Won gone, Sang-Ah is our only hope...
The minute this drama wraps up and I write down my final thoughts + recaps with other folks, I might bounce out of this comment section. Because I signed out and saw some abhorrent ass comments about women & several users here, it actually made me so upset & feel sick. Same person who called me a slut last time (I think I blocked him), he brought his illiterate, ugly ass incel sidekicks (or alt accounts) with him + the resident mean bitch Kina too. Since when did this website start turning into 4chan? Where the fuck are the moderators? Do the staff just exist to approve & reject drama edits? 😂
I understand his reasoning, that still doesn't justify the actions. That's one of the most horrific things you could do to a person, ya know? Angry or not. It seems like there's no turning back for the couple at this point. The moral event horizon has been crossed on both ends.
After watching today's episode, I have some thoughts.
Some of y'all are idiots for blaming Sang-Ah for getting assaulted. Now, I've been seeing this on Twitter, thankfully a lot of people on here have brains so there's no victim blaming I've seen in the comments... yet. Two- I knew Jung-Won wasn't gonna make it, especially after she basically raped Sang-Ah. But damn, did they have to do her like THAT? 😭 I cried when she died. K-dramas love their doomed Yuri/Bury Your Gays trope. Also, Ha Ji-Won better get that Daesang. This episode was hers and Ju Ji-Hoon's. The acting was excellent!
My big theory on the ending is that we won't see a "winner" or a happy ending. At least not in the typical sense. Because by this point, everyone's greed has turned them into monsters. Sang-Ah has nothing to lose and we're gonna see her out for blood (I hope) after what happened to Jung-Won. Tae-Seop seems to have become a slave to his greed. Yang-Mi is the puppetmaster, Jong-Wook is carefully watching over everything (what a shame), and Jung-Won was a sacrificed pawn. We have 1 episode left to see how everything goes down.
Side note: Again, Yang-Mi is a terribly written villain and her "big motive" was trash. It's giving K from Escape of the Seven, another lousy k-drama villain. 🙄 I hope Sang-Ah's villainy doesn't disappoint because she's now the only one I'm truly invested in, character-wise.
Sure. I recommend trying to rewatch the scene again, he forcibly kissed her and she tried to pull him off. And he still attempted to do so as she struggled. It was only till she hit & shoved him off that he stopped and broke down. This would be considered sexual assault/attempted marital rape.
Personally for me it's a bit hard to rewatch, but this was what I saw/understood when I saw the full scene.

(Oh, and go fuck yourself, Marcelo.)
